**update 4/2025.... This was a very disappointing visit. So much so that I removed another star and am not likely to return again. Their changes were more evident this time in the food itself. The Screaming O was my favorite dish but what they served tonight I didn't even want to finish. Sooooo many radish noodles and the tuna was sliced incredibly thin and barely seared. The Sean's Special tasted like mayonnaise to me. However they made it tonight there was 2 pieces of avocado to be seen and the taste was off. The John Holmes roll was visually different and seemed to be missing it's usual stuff and was spicy which it didn't use to be. The Jackpot special was hella spicy too and that's not how it used to come to us. This was not from their AYCE menu. We ordered less than usual and ended up having a meal that was $100 without tip. Sadly, the I love Sushi we used to get seems to have disappeared with their changes and I no longer recommend it or plan on visiting. ***update*** I went in for sushi a couple of weeks ago and was slightly disappointed. I've down-graded the service and atmosphere from 5 to 3 both. The employees were different and clearly not as interested in serving or clearing tables. They did not remove the menus before placing all the plates and sides and drinks on top of them which all had to be removed for the waiter to get the menus. No smile or pleasantries from the busser or whatever he was. So many employees seemed more interested in their phones than helping the customers and the girl I asked to remove old plates seemed a bit put out to have to do it. The food also didn't have that 5 star rating. This visit made me ask if they are under new management or have been completely bought by a new company and are starting to change everything. Our waiter was a little slow to answer and I understand why. The explanation was they are changing the service system because of the all you can eat. In any case, the vibe and service we used to get and experience were totally not there on the last visit. We might go back again to see if things were just off that night. So be warned. Snuck in for sushi yesterday and as always it was amazing.... I noticed 'a' little sign on one table for AYCE (all you can eat) but, it's Monday thru Thursday and only 730pm -10pm. They restrict how long you can have all you can eat and I didn't see a specific menu for all you can eat although I'm pretty sure they'll have a certain menu for this. If we show up between those hours, I look forward to seeing and trying that menu. (I just hope it's not like other AYCE options at places.) I'll update when we do). The only not so great thing was the rolls on 2 dishes were not tight enough to pick up in one piece and the jackpot special was cut in such uneven pieces on top of that. Chalking that up to a new person.

I’ve been coming here for almost 20 years, but the last couple of visits have been the absolute worst experiences I’ve ever had. Service was just terrible. We sat down and had to wave someone down just to place our order. When the food finally came out, my daughter was given a spoon for her udon — who eats noodles with a spoon? For 20 years, I’ve never seen them include a fork or at least ask if a little kid needed one. It took a few minutes just to get a fork so she could eat, and by then her udon was already cold. We also ordered ice cream for her, and it never showed up. Later on, I was trying to get the check and two boxes. I waved at another waiter — he looked right at me, saw I wasn’t his table, and just kept walking. Then one of the bussers came around, so I flagged him down and held up two fingers while saying, “Can I get two boxes?” He nodded, but then immediately started stacking dirty plates on top of our sushi and completely squashed it. I couldn’t stop him fast enough — good leftovers, ruined. Our actual server? Completely gone. And it wasn’t just us — I saw other tables getting ignored too. One group had to go up to the front just to check out because their server never came back. Another couple sat down while we were still eating and still hadn’t placed their order by the time we left. And the worst part? It wasn’t even busy. No excuse for service to be that bad. Eventually I had to flag down the manager just to get our check. It finally came. And for the first time in my life, I left a $0.00 tip at a restaurant. That’s how bad it was. The whole system is broken. FOH (Front of House) staff are supposed to take care of customers — checking in, bringing food, handling service — not run to the back to do BOH (Back of House) work. Meanwhile, the BOH guys — who clearly aren’t trained for customer service and barely speak English — are out on the floor trying to handle FOH duties? How does that make any sense? Has the owner never stepped into a real restaurant to see how things are supposed to flow? It looks like new management and staff have completely ruined this place. Absolutely horrible experience.

First time here and I was excited to try this place out! The atmosphere was very pleasant, with lots of seating in intimate settings. I loved the decor and decorative clothing worn by the women servers. However, be that as it may, our service was lacking big time. When you are doing AYCE, and are held to a 90 min seating, you would expect your server to check back at least within 20 minutes. Our server was too busy chatting it up with other servers in the back of the restaurant. At one point, we didn't see her, and couldn't find her for over 35 minutes! She disappeared at least 3 times. We had to ask a busser to try to find her for us. All together, I only got to order a 6 piece roll, and 4 appetizers. Good thing I wasn't really that hungry. My niece only got to order 3 rolls, and not all were full rolls! For the most part, the food was ok, but one roll with crab had pieces of shell and cartilage in it. The teriyaki beef appetizer was tasty but tough to chew. The tempora shrimp and veggies were small and extra greasy. As time progressed towards the 90 min mark, we felt very, very rushed. At this time, the busboy kept asking if we were done. All in all, It was not a great experience for my niece and I. Maybe it was an off Friday night? I may give it another try since I had lofty expectations for I Love Sushi!

We have been a loyal customer for over 13 years. This has always been our go to. We eat out pretty frequently and we have a normal expectation of service/price/quality when we go out. We have never had an issue outside of normal wait times and service and if there ever was an issue the staff resolved right away.

Tonight we went for fathers day dinner and sadly this will be the last time we come here. Our party of 7 had our order placed and everyone but my food came out as expected. 10 mins, 20 mins, 30 mins later and my food has not arrived, the wait staff didn't come by to check on our table, refill drinks or even apologize for my food not coming out. At this point everyone is done and we are ready to go and they finally brought out my 2 sushi orders. The wait staff didn't try to comp us or even apologize for the lack of service and just gave us the full bill. I got up and went to the front desk and spoke with someone who seemed like they were in charge. I explained the situation and they didn't seemed bothered by it and just said " I can your food off if you like". Look I'm not one to look for anything free but I do expect the staff to make it right and offer something up. It was very unprofessional and calloused response to the situation. They ended up taking my order and our drinks off after some back and forth. I feel like most establishments wouldn't allow it to get to this point and should just offer to make it right without us having to go up and address it.

Poor customer service since going AYCE and the current management does not seemed concerned with a situation like ours. We wont be back after 13 years of coming here, too many other great places around to ask for the bare minimum...
