I have been sitting on this for a month or so and I finally decided to go ahead and leave the review.
My friend and I got food there one night just passing through. Food was fine and service was fine but being charged $36 for one meal plus an additional burger with cheese and bacon added and a lemonade is the most insanely greedy mess I have ever heard of.
I asked the guy at the window if he could double check the prices and he did and said they were accurate. I just sat there baffled. Nearly $3 to add bacon and a dollar $1.01 for each slice of cheese. I wanted to leave but I wasn't driving nor paying. My friend was just as floored but it was very late at night and we needed to eat.
I put the same exact order into the app for my local store and it came out to be almost $10 less. I do understand that this location is not part of corporate whataburger, but they should be held to the same standards. Robbing people like this is unacceptable. Screwed up our order and missing items, asked for a manager and got a chuckle headed lead who literally was laughing at their error. Again asked for an actual manager, as the female manager unknowingly started to walk out into the situation, she did a complete about face disappearing back to the office. Eventually another gentleman came to the front, an assistant manager, he was at least respectful, listened, and fixed our order, compensation was offered but really all we want is our order right and everything we actually paid for. Shortly following this the female manager, I'm presuming the general manager, returned from the office and sat down with who I could only think is the Operating Partner, laptop and wearing a Hawaiian shirt.

The rest of the staff busy busting it & he was just moping around like he didn't care. No surprise, my simple one sandwich order he brought me the wrong sandwich after looking all through the dining room for my number 40,even though my order was to go & I was holding the #40 right at the counter where he walked by me not once but 4 times & finally told another worker #40 was nowhere in the building. She immediately saw it was my order & put it to go. Unfortunately she didn't check it to make sure he had the correct sandwich so I left & ended up eating cold fries and a cold sandwich nothing near resemblance of what I paid for.
