We were driving by this place on a whim and found Shoney's by accident. We couldn't leave without having a meal since it's been ages since either of us has ever been to one. We were greeted and seated immediately. Even for being down to one waitress she still did exceptionally for how busy it was becoming after we were seated. They had a buffet with shrimp, crayfish, meatloaf, and other stuff I can't remember and they made sure to keep it rotated and full. They were good about checking the buffet and salad bar wiping it down to keep it clean and filling things up if needed. We both ordered burgers, mine with fries and his with hand-dipped onion rings. They came out pretty quick. The entirety of the food was amazingly great! I don't know if the patties are handmade, they seem like it, but they were nice and thick and juicy! The bun was equally great and complemented the burger without falling apart from becoming mushy before I could finish it. The onion rings were similar in comparison texture to Sonic's but not sweet like theirs. It had a lovely golden texture and crunch and the onion inside was cooked like supposed to be not raw. Their fries were crunchy, golden brown, and done like you'd expect and salted too! Our entire experience here was fabulous. Our waitress Friday, November 1st at 4 pm or so, was exceptional and the cooks knew how to actually cook everything and keep up with the buffet!

We stopped at Shoney’s in Henryetta, Oklahoma, on our way back from Tulsa for the breakfast all-you-can-eat buffet, and it was a great experience! The staff was cautious and accommodating about our dietary restrictions, which we really appreciated. The biscuits and gravy were absolutely delicious, and the French toast sticks were a big hit with everyone. One of the highlights for the kids was the ice cream that came included with the buffet—such a fun treat! The staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. If you’re passing through Henryetta, Shoney’s is a good option for breakfast!

Had a great experience here being the first time my husband and I visiting a Shoney's. This place was a very decent/convenient and priced just right. You have the option of choosing something off the menu, or you can choose from the delicious buffet. Our server was simply amazing, and I’m so sorry I forgot to ask her name! Tall lady, soft voice, dark hair, she worked on 9/29 and my husband and I were there at 10am. The restaurant and restrooms were very clean! The employees made sure the Buffett station was always stocked and well maintained and clean! The vibe here was perfect for this country town!

Where to start ?... So, late afternoon Super Bowl Sunday pre-game on all the tvs. HUGE points for that...FYI before I continue, my husband has been trying to get me to visit this place for months I just blow it off and decide against it. (MISTAKE) So, the hostess/waitress greeted us and we shared a couple laughs and she sat us in front of the best pictured tv in the building in my opinion (sorry BDubs Ya lost my need to watch sports with ya.) Anyway being my 1st time I was glancing over the menu and was pleasantly surprised at the prices. (ANOTHER ROUND OF BONUS POINTS GIVEN) Very humbling was my 1st thought impressive was my 2nd. A young lady appeared introduced herself as Madi it stuck because we have a Mady as well...She took our drink order with a huge smile and laid back demeanor. (MORE BONUS POINTS) We decide to see what's on the buffet before we make a decision and once Madi came back around we gave her our choice. (Buffet) The food was fresh the hot food was hot the chilled food was chilled and the apple cobbler made me wanna hide under the buffet table and wait til another was put out and swipe it. While eating, I watched as our waitress came out of NO WHERE surpassing other waitresses to grab the door for an elderly couple one using a walker. Upon finishing our meal Madi came back around and I commended her for her actions she shrugged it off with a polite thank you adding the couple was regulars there. As not only a former longtime manager at a bar and grill not far from here but a long time waitress as well I quietly watch observe and size myself against some of the waitresses in restaurants from time to time but NOT here not once. I don't know who trained you Madi or if self taught but your truly a Rockstar at being a server. Makes me wanna watch the job boards for any job opening at Shoney's just to be around the atmosphere and good vibes. Thank you to the staff of Shoney's that day. You...

I would probably have given a 5 ⭐️, but just couldn’t!! Was in late evening, Oct 17, enjoyed our food, waitstaff we had was GREAT!! But, when there were MANY tables that need to be bused and a another member of waitstaff is standing around like a security guard, crossed arms and all, while other workers are busting the tails breaking down the buffet for the evening and another staff member is in another room (management maybe) asking to be waited on watching baseball, I just can’t give a higher rating!!! It appeared that we had come in just after an extremely busy evening as about 65% of the tables in the main dining area needed to bused. That’s ridiculous!!! Our waitress was taking care of us while going clear to the other side of the restaurant to bus tables. We were there at least 30-45 minutes and several of the tables near us were still untouched while the one “security guard” just stood around. Shortly before we left, she went to 1 table that had customers that left just before us and grabbed the tip and slowly began busing that table. As a person that has worked in restaurants myself, you won’t be in business for long if you leave dirty tables this long, work some people hard and let others stand and do NOTHING and apparently have management that think they don’t need to do any of the grunt work!!! When management gets their elbows dirty it shows respect for the under dogs!! I for one have more respect for a restaurant that treats their employees this way, THAN one were management sits and does nothing!!! I don’t live close to the Shoney’s, so can’t guarantee I will be back, but if I do and see a repeat of what I witnessed last night, I know I...
