La Palma Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Hermiston

I usually have a great experience here the food is really good but Friday around 9pm I came in with my daughter, son in law and my husband. It took 10 min for a hostess to confront us and the restaurant only had a few ppl in there.. after we were seated we were given menus and the waitress did not return to our table for another 20 min. My husband commented to the waitress that we have been here for a half an hour and our order was not taken. She just made excuses. There were 4 other tables in the restaurant and she made the rounds taking the orders. After she finished taking our order she got snooty and said I will go put your order in first so she dont get in trouble.. but it was really rude.. as if to say we did something wrong by telling her we had waited for 1/2 hr just to get our order taken. The food came pretty quick but after she delivered our meals she never returned to our table to ask us if we needed boxes or refills on soda.. nothing. We then got up and went to pay. I gotta tell you that usually we have a great meal with no problems but this waitress was just rude. Thats how my husband got to spend his birthday dinner. Out of all 4 of us we left no tip! You might want to figure out on 5/17/19 at 9pm who was waitressing because she was incredibly rude.. I hope that this was a fluke and when we return it doesn't happen again. I hope next time I can change this rating back to a positive one.!! Edit!! Even know this never got addressed and no one ever even said I’m sorry I’ll look into it nothing I have been back several times and the food is good so I’m going to raise my stars back up from 2 to 3! I want to up it to 4 but we will see. I would’ve gone higher if it wasn’t for the fact that they never addressed this...

If I could give them zero stars I would... I went there for the third time since it has reopened and so far every experience has been absolutely terrible... it takes forever to be seated whether they are busy or not and then once you are seated it takes thirty minutes or more for a waiter to even come by and take your order. Tonight I could hear more than myself experiencing poor service the people who sat next to us had been there for thirty minutes and finally got up to get their server although she had already been by and gotten other orders in the area we were seated and brought food to them as well. another set of ladies complained that their table was sticky and dirty upon sitting down and as for the wait we had that was what we delt with all night... by the time they brought my drink we were already done with our meal and to top it off we asked for a check but after 20 minutes of waiting started to get up and wait in line with several other who were also waiting to pay... I’ve already vowed not to eat here because this happens every time but with the power out at ixtapa we decided to give it a chance but unfortunately it is the same every time!! I’m sad to see such terrible service there since I use to eat there all the time before the remodel and back then the service was great and the food delicious... this was my third and final time eating there at this point ixtapa is the only Mexican restaurant in town that will...

The food is good but the customer service is NOT good. I went in to eat with my husband and they didn't take our order till almost 15min later. Didn't even ask what we wanted to drink. Another American couple went in the same time as us but they got there food and drinks while we were still waiting to get some service. I was so mad but I didn't want to leave cuz I was so hungry and didn't want to go to another place and waite again. Couple of months later I went back again because I was craving carne asada. Same thing happened, the waiters ignored us, when I asked her if I can get some beans dip for my chips, she turned around and walked away like she didn't hear me.. I asked her if she heard me and she kind of screamed "yes I heard you!".. I was mad, I didn't tip her... That kind of service don't deserve a tip... If I could I would NOT give this place a star.... If your Hispanic you'll get ignored, but if your an American they will treat you like a royalty because they...
