If you're on the lookout for a welcoming community spot that feels like home, this cozy local eatery is a must-visit. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for family gatherings or catching up with friends. The decor embodies a charming Mid-South southern vibe, making it a place where you can relax in comfortable attire while enjoying laughter and great food.
From the moment we arrived, the service was prompt and attentive. Our waiter was friendly and genuinely made us feel at ease, enhancing our dining experience. The Pizza Experience
I knew the vegetarian pizza was my selection since I don't eat beef, pork or chicken, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The cheese blend was a delightful surprise; it didnât stretch in the usual way, which I found to be a huge plus. As a texture eater, I appreciate when everything on my plate stays togetherâit's like theyâre in a delicious relationship! Do not break your values.
Now, letâs talk about that garlic oil pizza sauce. Oh, what a game changer! It adds a rich and savory depth that perfectly complements the toppings. This isn't your heavy, stomach-filling pizza; itâs light and crispy with a profound flavor that allows you to enjoy every bite without feeling weighed down. If you're someone who prefers a heartier meal, there are other options on the menu that might suit you better.
I shouldve pair this pizza with a mixed green salad drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette and a refreshing beverage of your choice (all I had was water but my imagination infused with mint and lemonâadd a strawberry on the rim for an extra touch of class!). The slight kick of jalapeño on the pizza elevates it even further, giving it a delightful twist.
In summary, this spot is a hidden treasure that offers quality ingredients, generous portions, and a friendly staffâall at a reasonable price. If youâre looking for an authentic pizza experience reminiscent of the East Coast but with a unique twist, look no further! Whether you're a local or just passing through, make sure to stop by this family-oriented business. You...
Read moreMy husband and I drove there from Tunica this past Sunday. It was about 5:30pm. Wasn't too crowded. We sat in a booth that we had to clean the table off ourselves, moving the stuff to the edge of our table. We waited, and waited, and waited.... no server came to our table. A server came to the booth RIGHT next to us, didn't even look at us, I watched her the whole time. Actually, BOTH times she went to the booth next to us. A server walked all the way around the table in the middle next to us. We realized we probably weren't in her area but really.... no one could see the dirty dishes at the edge of our table? Then my husband gets a third server's attention and motions for her to come over to us.....nothing! She looks at him and his back to her table. Doesn't nod at us, or hold her finger up as to say one minute please, nor does she get our server to wait on us. I watched her when she finished what she was doing to see if she'd go over to our server-NO. I watch our server standing behind the bar, talking to another server, while waiting on the cooks to get her order ready...... could she not come get our order vs. waiting on the cooks?? I then see our server ask a table in the middle of the room and on the opposite side of the room if everything was ok. Really??? Soooo, were we just sitting in an invisible booth or what??? We never got acknowledged... never got anyone to wait on us. After 21 mins., we just got up and left! When we were walking out the door, another couple was about to go inside. We told them NOT to go inside if they wanted to eat tonight. We told them we never got acknowledged in the 21 mins we were there. They turned around and left too. Never had this happen in the few times we've been there. Probably won't go back but if we do, we'll definitely speak up and ask for the...
Read moreOrdered pizza and another entree with drinks. Beer was hot and when I asked for a chilled glass waitress said everything was hot because air was out It was comfortable in the restaurant. She did bring a chilled mug but was not happy to be there. She brought our salads but never asked if we would like drink refills or if salads were ok. When my pizza was ready she tried to deliver 3 pizzas at one time and dropped two of them. One was mine. Instead of apologizing and asking what she could do. She just announced that it would be 30-45 minutes before mine or the other table could be replaced. She brought the other order but never asked if she could get me anything else. Not even another beer She just said she would take the pizza off our bill She never came back to ask if we wanted more drinks. Just continued to clean tables and sweep the floor. She dropped the bill on our table and never said a word We were asked as we were leaving if everything was ok and when I said it would have been better if I had received my pizza she announced that we had seen her drop the pizza and what was she suppose to do about it We have eaten at the Brick oven often with good service and good pizza. This was a disaster. Will not be going back anytime soon if that is going to be the quality of service. We always leave a nice tip but just couldnât tonight. Service...
