Día y Noche Café — Restaurant in Hialeah

If I can give this place 0 stars I totally would. Do yourself a before and think twice about ordering from this place.

Ordered Milanesa de res with white rice and tostones. The white rice and tostones were good but the steak was harder than pork rinds. I'm honestly appalled at the fact that someone would give this to someone. ( see picture)

My co worker ordered the filetillo de pollo with rice and mash potatoes and they brought her sweet plantains instead of the mash potatoes.

When calling to file a complaint and receive a refund no manager was on site and they had idea when the manager was going to arrive. Called a second time and spoke with an employee Daily ( don't think it's spelled correctly) she was really nice and was going to have the manager call me.

5 minutes after Daily called back and said that the manager Armando said that he'll provide me with the money back however, I had to take all the food back. Mind you I don't live in the area.

Horrible food, horrible manager and horrible...

I've tried cuban food from La Carreta, Casavana, Sergio's and all these brand name cuban places and nothing compares to Dia y Noche. They have excellent prices and their food is delicious. Unlike many cuban places that use canned beans, their black beans are made from scratch, they even put aji cachucha. The place might not look nice on the outside and the waitresses might look like they are in their period all the time, pero their food makes up for everything they lack in customer service. Tried this restaurant after the club cause it was the only thing I found open.

PROS: the fact that its 24/7 food was good and tasted fresh, not like its been reheated all day

CONS: I placed my order online through their website and upon arrival they told me they never got it and could not find my order. Thankfully I screenshotted my receipt and confirmation so they called the owner at 4am and long story short 30 mins later I was able to get my order.
