Let me preface this review by saying I do completely understand that it was a Friday night (Well actually Early Saturday (2am)) and most people are there to drink but from I just ordered carry-out since I am visiting the area and nothing else is really open.
I am pretty sure if you are a local or the staff is familiar with you that you get pretty good service. I saw many people come and go while i was waiting and they got served much quicker than me. I am just a visitor so I tried to be as patient as I could but the wait was pretty bad. Took about 15-20 minutes of sitting at the bar and trying to get the attention of the bartender/server before I was able to place my order. They were busy but not that busy for the 3 bartenders to ignore me or not be attentive to more of their customers. The bartender that took my order wasn’t rude or anything but wasn’t anything to write home about either. No biggie at this point.
I ordered 10 wings and a cheeseburger. Figured it would be about 20-30 minutes or so. Was definitely wrong on that one. Ultimately it was 50 minutes for the two items. I was the first one “in” but the last one out compared to the 5 or 6 bar seats around me that ordered food.
The burger itself was definitely good. It’s huge and very juicy and cooked to order (medium). I was expecting the curly fries to be better based on the description but they were plan, soft bland curly fries, I probably wouldn’t get them again. The wings were good size and quality but the sauce really wasn’t that great either. I got hot which is 1 of only a few flavors and I would say they were more mild then hot. You have to pay extra for celery and blue cheese which is the first time I’ve had to pay for celery with wings in A LONG time and I eat winged 2-3 times a week and when I travel.
Nothing was super amazing, the burger was decent but a good size but the fries and wings were pretty boring and i didn’t finish more than 1/4 of them and I’m usually not a picky eater.
If you’re not a local expect staff to not really pay attention to you unless you’re extremely boisterous or something but otherwise you’ll be waiting a whole both to order and to get your food (or drinks for that matter).
This place is open super late and serves food and drinks so because of that it will probably always stay busy on weekends. Unless I am super super desperate, I probably wouldn’t be back. I wasn’t disgusted by the food or anything that happened but it was just a typical bar food and typical non-attentive staff for the most part.
Oh and it took me asking 3 people and literally being told by 2 of them that I couldn’t get ketchup “to-go” before I finally got some and they gave me 2 packets.
I’m not being petty and again I’m not usually picky but wanted to share my experience bc it was really just a blah...
Read moreHad recently started going to this restaurant about 2 months ago. The food is normally good and service is normally fine. Today was a very bad experience. I went there with my 3 daughters and was extremely disappointed with my experience. One of my daughters is 5 years old for some reason the server behaved as if she did not exist. The restaurant was not busy yet the server was not attentive at all. When I ordered a pitcher of soda while the server was bringing the pitcher and glassware to our table, there were some other servers chatting by the service station. Our server stops to gossip with them with our drinks still in her hand. I was watching her the whole time as our table was close to the server station. When she arrives to our table she places 3 glasses with ice and the pitcher. She did not give a glass to my 5 year old. In a timely manner the salads, garlic bread, and loaded nachos arrived. We had to flag our server down because she did not give us any silverware or sharing plates and she was hiding in the server station doing something on her phone. I asked her for silverware, some plates, and some water for the table. When she returns to the table she comes back with 3 plates, 3 napkins, and 3 sets of silverware. At this point I ask her if she can bring an extra plate and the water we asked for. She comes back with 3 glasses of water so one of my older daughters speaks up and asks her if she could bring another glass and silverware for her little sister. I don’t want to go into further detail but the experience just continued to get worse. To top it off when I asked for the bill it took almost 10 minutes to get our check and it was dropped off by a server assistant. Unfortunately a manager never touched our table so I did not inform the manager. I don’t normally complain and I still tipped well however I do not plan to return to this restaurant. It is unfortunate because this was quickly becoming our go to spot. Our server was Michelle D I recommend that she should be counseled and coached especially emphasizing that the quickest way to anger a parent is to pretend their child doesn’t exist and is not a...
Read moreFirst I normally am a irregular here and always have a great time with our bartender Daniela but unfortunately she was off and so my husband and I decided to eat at a reagrupar table our server was Joyce horrible waitress does not even come out and follow up on your meal. Our salad came out without salad dressing, the ribs were at temperature sort of cold and the fries as well. Before she put the order we had asked her kindly if she could make sure the fries and ribs came out hot not temperature cold, well that didn’t happen. We had to constant ask the other waitress that was so nice Fíorella to bring things to our table because Joyce our waiter was not around to attend. Furthermore, after asking for fresh fries her manager comes out and brings it to us with an attitude and as I am speaking to her she turns her back to the point that I had to ask her name to give a review because she was so rude. Apparently finally Joyce the other wither decided to come to our table and didn’t like my remark about her manager that was not professional to us and decided not to attend us. We were then taken care of of Fiorella which is very professional and on top of her tables making the rest of our dinner pleasant full. At time we had just got our dessert the manager not even started to eat the dessert that had just come out Manager RUJI came to our table to ask us that if we can pay. I told her after I finish eating our dessert. She was very rude as well as the prior manager. Flannigans owner and corporate should be ashamed of hiring such unprofessional staff managers and waitress. My advice if you want a nice meal with great hospitality go to the Miramar or Weston Flannigans. DON’T waste your money here. Sadly we will miss Daniela our bartender for our meals...
