KFC — Restaurant in Hialeah

Came in tonight of my goal of having a nice delicious meal/ dinner for my children and wife. I came inside to place a carryout order. It was a 16pc family meal… dark meat , that came with 4 large sides. Which was fries, mash potatoes….Mac & cheese. And coleslaw. And 8 or 6 biscuits. Which came up to $53 and some change. After I placed my order I paid for my order with cash. And received my change back. I proceeded by asking for a receipt, and she then informed me that their receipt machine wasn’t working.or didn’t have any more paper. I was kinda concerned because I always want to have my receipt as proof of purchase just in case something went wrong. But I gave them the benefit of the doubt. So I waited about 3-5 minutes in on my order I purchased. I also bought 2 chicken pot pies.which was $12.37. After about 10-15minutes pass. I received my 16pc family meal. The only thing I was waiting on was the chicken pot pie. Which the young lady told me. She was very nice and professional with her position at the register. So I finally got the pot pies and off home I went. So once I gotten home me... My wife and kids were anticipating on a great meal. So I open up the bucket of chicken to find out, and see the chicken wings were dried-out…..Hard as if they were sitting all day under the heater lamp… the chicken looked burnt. “When I ask for dark meat chicken, I didn’t mean give me over cooked chicken. Biscuits was hard.. fries were cold. The mac&cheese was warm on the verge of being cold. Mash potatoes were the same.The coleslaw suprisely was the side that was okay. And the chicken pot pie was the only really fresh items out everything I purchased. This meal tonight was so terrible for me, my wife and my children…SMH. We really didn’t even eat none of the food. All I knew was that I was back to the drawing board when it came to getting something to eat for us tonight. I’m just trying to figure out how can a person be soooo bold enough to serve someone really old food. And don’t even think twice of serving it out. If it was the other way around they wouldn’t appreciate bad food be giving out to them.especially if you paid for it with your hard earn money. I just feel like they should be fired for just giving someone those terrible pieces of food. One thing is for sure is that I’m definitely not coming back to that location on 62nd and 27th Ave at night . I would never want anyone to go through what I went through. This location needs to be SHUT down ! I live in the area and will continue to travel to other locations.I’ve Been to this location about 4-5 in the past 6 years . Today I didn’t feel like going the distance after getting off and being in traffic so I stopped to this location ordered a number 1.2 crisp thighs 2 sides of Mac . They gave me 2 small legs and a thigh . The Mac was cold and one of the orders had a bake bean in it (are bake beans even on the menu anymore😭 ?) . Everything was old (the pictures doesn’t do justice )I tried to eat the food despite my order being incorrect and not wanting to go back plus I was starving and I couldn’t eat it after biting into the cold Mac and noticing the bean . I returned to the store for my money back . I couldn’t even fix my mouth up to ask for my order to be done fresh after seeing how they handle food (no mask no gloves and taking drive thru orders )...

Busy nights are rough. I get it. Young people are working here as well, so I wouldn't expect much of a professional demeanor. Also the number of inaccurate orders being overlooking or something was missing during a rushed period would be common. The workers thought that the complaints were funny and still failed to provide a solution which in result waisted our time and money to buy simple meals. I also overheard one of the workers that happened to be observing the overnight staff and he even admitted that he was expecting complaints galore the next following day. Noting the quality of the workers were poor with the night rush.

Our experience was a case of the wrong order and old food. To correct the order was the worse process because there was a collective group of other customers with similar issues. 30 minutes later the food was still "old" and at...
