UPDATE: They are now having shady practices. First of all, at the drive-thru you are made to pull around and wait, which is fine. What is not fine is not being given tartare sauce with your fish order and then being extorted $1 extra per. Additionally, the young man who brought the order to the car, demanded tip. If that's the order of things, just let ppl wait at the window. I've removed a star from my original review and cannot recommend going here any longer. ### Come here when clogging your arteries is not a chief concern. Everything is deep fried but tasty, how could it not be! The portions are large so sharing is encouraged if you're worried about calories but still want to eat here. All of the staples are available and the fish was flaky and moist. I did enjoy it. I would recommend getting the sauces for the wings on the side, otherwise it can be quite messy. This is the type of place where you order and pick up to take home or eat in your car. So it gets no points for atmosphere as it is non existent. Just order, pay and leave. The pricing is midrange but it's a good value because of how much you get. I could see some ppl eating some now ans saving some for later but that depends on how you reheat. If oven or airfryer, decent. If microwave, no. So if you're wanting so good old fried food, this is your spot. Hush puppies and the grouper were my favorite items. You won't be left lacking. Note: food is heavily salted. Not good if you have hypertension or HBP. Otherwise, it's a treat every blue moon. Not a lot of images for this one bc taking pictures in the car, isn't the best situation for all that food.

✨ Neighborhood Treasure in Miami: Lemon Peppers 🍋🐟🍗 Driving up from the Keys to Miami International Airport, we decided to skip the expressway (because let’s face it, great food isn’t found there 😉) and wound our way through the neighborhoods. That’s when we found Lemon Peppers—and wow, what a find! From the moment we stepped in, Dominique 🌟 made the experience unforgettable. Friendly, patient, and full of great suggestions, she answered every question with a smile that never faded. Top-notch service like that deserves a round of applause 👏 (and yes, a generous tip 💵). We went for the Catfish & 2 Wing Special 🐟🍗 plus 4 Whole Lemon Pepper Wings 🍋🔥. The catfish? Crispy, tender, and so flavorful it didn’t even need hot sauce—though we eventually indulged just for fun. The Cajun rice 🍚 was exactly how we wanted it—customized to perfection. The menu is a foodie’s playground 🎯: empanadas 🥟, tostones 🍌, seafood 🦐, and all your fried favorites. And the juices? Pure nostalgia in a cup 🥤—sweet, icy, and packed with flavor. Final verdict: If you’re in Miami, skip the highway and take the detour 🚗💨. Between the food and the service, Lemon Peppers is worth every mile. #MiamiEats #FoodieAdventure #NeighborhoodGems #LemonPeppers #CatfishGoals #WorthTheDetour

I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience. I traveled two hours just to visit this place, only to leave feeling utterly disappointed. From the moment I walked in, the customer service was lackluster at best. The young lady at the counter acted like she had no interest in being there, let alone assisting customers. I placed my order and made it clear that I wanted my wings fried hard and with extra lemon pepper. I even confirmed this with her when she called out my order, and she assured me that the extra lemon pepper was already on the chicken. Trusting her word was a mistake. After a long two-hour drive back home, I opened my order to find no extra lemon pepper and barely any seasoning at all! To make matters worse, I was charged for something I didn’t receive. This was an absolute waste of my time and money. The service was careless, and the lack of attention to detail is unacceptable. I strongly urge others to think twice before making the trip to this place or double your order.

I would honestly give 6 stars if I could for the only reason that the food here is immaculate!!! I love love loveee the food, that’s why I come so very often, and that’s that I live super far from their location, a bit over an hour away to be exact. I have lots of friends that didn’t even know lemon peppers was a thing and I had to put them on, but let me tell you they’re customer service is HORRIBLE !!!!!! Yesterday I came to get food for my whole family, I only carry card never cash, but they weren’t taking card only cash so I went back home kinda upset, and had to settle for something else. They open at 10 am so I drove all the way back today to go buy food for my family to take to the beach. I noticed no one was there so I waited over 40 minutes for them to open and give them time to clock in and turn everything on and you know just to give them time to start the day, I then pulled in at 10:30 am and I waiting and wait just for them to tell me they’re closed and not opening till after 11 am. Annoying af. If the food wasn’t so good I would honestly never come and spend my hard earned money because they’re never in a good mood and always so aggravated. And to be honestly this is not the only time I’ve had to deal with something here. It’s honestly super unprofessional. But whatever I guess. It’s draining but like I said the food makes...

Lots of food for the $$. I only went there ONCE about 5 months ago as I was very curious about them (and I do love a good fried chicken) and I saw that they are constantly busy. Interestingly there is a KFC within 500 ft of them and that KFC is hardly getting any business relative to them. This KFC is drying up because of them! So this got me very curious and interested to go check them out. The drive though for this place is very small and my 1st time when I placed 2 orders, when I got the packages I was very pleasantly surprised at the amount of pieces I got for the money. However upon reaching home and settling in to eat it, we quickly discovered that the LEMON PEPPER flavor is something that is a ACQUIRED TASTE! I struggled to eat mine while my friend just dumped theirs as they could not tolerate the taste. So overall, if you can manage their Lemon Pepper spice, then its a really good deal. The amount of food that you get is excellent, esp in this Covid Virus time when almost all restaurants have significantly raised their prices and times are tough. Maybe the secret to eating their food is simply "Eat First, Taste Later!" Maybe someday I'll be adventurous and explore their other menu items. But as of this writing its well worth noting that they are drawing customers away from a KFC...
