Our family has passed this company many times during our travels and never had an opportunity to stop at one since we are over the road truckers. We were finally able to find a parking lot across the street to allow us to have a chance to try their food. Unfortunately, it was the worst idea ever, and we didn't even know it. We ordered online for a pick-up order so we could stop at the store and get a few items before our order would be ready. Well, we were about 5 minutes later than our ordered time, and our food was still not ready. The location was not busy, so there was really not a good reason to not have 4 sandwiches and 2 pies ready in 40 minutes. Also, did I mention I ordered online, so I specified what needed to be changed and/or added to the burgers, yet they STILL were unsuccessful. I asked for SUBSTITUTE BRIOCHE BUN (TOASTED ON BOTH SIDES), NO TOMATO, GRILLED ONIONS (instead of raw), NO MUSTARD, ADD KETCHUP & MAYO. There was already lettuce and pickle listed on the toppings, so I didn't have to request those. I literally got my burger on a REGULAR BUN, not toasted, TOMATO, LETTUCE, RAW ONIONS, MUSTARD & PICKLES. WHAT?!? Yeah, not even close to what I ordered. I thought since they messed up on mine, at least the rest of the order was correct and would be good. What a joke!! The food was terrible, even the grilled cheese was an epic failure, HOW DO YOU FAIL AT GRILLED CHEESE?!? I don't know, contact this location and request their explanation. Read moreLet me start off by saying, it was 75 cent whataburger day and of course you’d expect the overwhelming orders for take out and drive thru. Lines were extremely long out the door and drive thru was out onto the street for this deal. I placed my order at around 7:30 and I wasn’t able to pick it up till almost 8:30. ‼️ Mr. Jorge Villarreal ‼️ The NEW manager in charge and by far the BEST manager this location has seen, was handling his customers orders, questions, complaints, directing customers, directing his workers etc. with professionalism, care, and quickness. I went in to pick up a handful of orders for our get together and Mr Villarreal had NO ISSUE remaking the orders that were placed a while back since everything was cold. He pulled my wife and I aside and apologized for the inconvenience and thanked us very much for our business. He said that it was no bother helping us and that he hopes we come back to his restaurant. May I add, our family is pretty united so we all get together after events etc at the Whataburger on Cage and Ridge. However, people who ordered after me that were not getting a mobile order (ordering food right then and there)that had bigger or longer orders somehow got their food and after almost waiting 20 minutes I gave up and decides to just ask for my money back. Instead the old lady employee, whom I believe is the supervisor, denied my request and told me that she'll get my order. After another five minutes of waiting, she eventually gave me my order. How does it take that long to complete a small order? I know it is during lunch hour, but really? I even asked for my money back instead of waiting for the order but was refused. Also, this doesn't seem to be a rare problem. As I waited for my order, there were about 3 to 5 people waiting for their order and even one little old fragile lady apparently waited there for 30 minutes for what seemed to be a small order as it came in a small to go bag.
