Burger King — Restaurant in Hillsboro

I want to be fair since they just opened a day ago and give feedback vs critique. So being the newest location, it’s actually in a good area. Same plaza as 7-11, a gas station, Starbucks, wichwich, top golf and k1 indoor racing.

Two lanes for drive thru and free parking lot. I didn’t go inside, but it’s beautiful with the all glass building in the dining area so it gets plenty of light and view on the inside. Definitely clean as it’s all new.

I went the second night of opening around 9pm and did the drive thru. Due to NBA playoffs, the BK jingle and marketing succeeded, and I went for the 2 for $6 meals. It was on the menu. I requested for it, but at the time, the person taking the order said they didn’t see it… despite being right there on the menu. I had a sense they’re still training, but wasn’t entirely sure.

So I just went for the $7 meal which included a whopper jr, chicken fries, and regular fries. I pull up to window one, paid, they asked what sauce. Mentioned it, and said okay.

Pulled up to the second window, waited a few minutes then they told me to park up front. I was assuming that they needed to fry up the chicken fries. after ten minutes of waiting up front, they walked over, apologized, and gave me my order. I was the only customer there to order, so I don’t know if I caught them off guard and didn’t have things ready, but I understood if that was the case.

Got home, all my food was there, but no sauce. Food was what you’d expect from BK. So no complaints there. Just my initial experience at a new location, I don’t know if it goes up or...

This has to be one of the dumbest reviews I've made. I went to the ribbon cutting, won a free popcorn maker and told I'd be contacted within a week or two to pick up my prize.

2 months later - no popcorn maker. Went in to confirm, was given a phone number to call. This manager/individual says "it's real. you're getting a popcorn maker!" after I've asked "Is this even real? I'll stop trying to collect this prize if this was fake."

Now it's 4+ months since the ribbon cutting. I call and get told "i'll call you right back" with no response after a week. Call again and leave a message, "Just tell me this was a scam and I'll leave it be. My family really wanted this popcorn maker and I'll figure out another way if Burger King isn't going to deliver on the prize." Sometimes when I call, "Oh no - it's real. We will have it in a couple weeks trust me!"

I'm always a couple weeks away because it was "just ordered". No longer holding my breath. No longer going to this location as every time I went to check the status of the popcorn maker, I'd spend...

Watch your receipt and check your order at the window! I was at the drive-thru at 3:50 p.m.-I was one of two people in the Drive-Thru.

I ordered an impossible Whopper with no mayo and heavy ketchup, also to cut it in half. I didn't know they charge for a large water, so when I saw it was a dollar on the screen I asked for the complimentary one because I didn't want to pay a dollar.

Little did I know he didn't take it off and I ended up paying for the water. I asked for my dollar back was asked if I wanted a cookie instead and I told him no.

His manager didn't even look at me when she refunded my money. I had to wait there for a minute and ask for my receipt back. I had it shoved at me for the window and his manager still didn't look at me.

On top of this mishap, my burger had zero ketchup on it and not even packets in the bag,it had no pickles or onion, and they didn't cut my burger in half.
