My husband and I stayed at the Cedartree Hotel a couple of weeks ago, and the one thing I wanted to do the most was to check out Kiyomizu. This little sake bar did not disappoint! It's an intimate, bright, and quiet spot where the different brands of sake can really shine. Mel, who was working behind the bar and who led us on our sake journey, was incredibly helpful with giving us recommendations and describing the different drinks to us, especially since we knew next to nothing about sake. My favorite of the night ended up being the Yamayuzu Shibori sake, which was just sweet enough without being overly so, mixed with flavorful yuzu.
