I ordered online the night before, catering for 60 people. I had put in 2 orders to be picked up at the same time. I arrived early and they had all of the first order including utensils, sauces put into big plastic bags ready to go. However, after loading it in, I came back to get the items for the second order and they all looked confused. I showed them my 2 emails that confirmed I paid using gift cards. Still no record in their system showed up. Then I went into my app and looked at order history. Clicking into my 2nd order, it says canceled. I never got an email that said my order got canceled somehow. After some head scratching by us all, I tried putting in the same online order but it said the earliest I could pick up was 3 hours later. I told the assistant store manager, “Look, my party is expecting me back with food and now I’m running late. I’m good with paying.” So immediately he sprung into action, said to give them 20 min. and ordered my 26-30 catering meal of 2 white rice, 2 fried rice, 2 orange chicken, 2 teriyaki and threw in a 10% discount. He went back to supervise it and another employee continued to ring me up. I had gift cards (same ones I used the night before) and he patiently entered them in. It came out in 15 min. and as I loaded the first batch, the store manager came to my car with the second batch. He helped me double check that I had all the items. As I confirmed, an employee came running out with tongs and serving utensils for all of the catering (which turned out to be a life saver)! So I only ended up being about 10 min. That was excellent customer service!! Thank you for not letting a whole bunch of hungry people down! (I’m so glad I didn’t send someone to pick up for me and that I came to this location even though it’s slightly further away from the party...
Read more12:25pm - 2/14/2024 Wow. I have been coming to this location for the last 3 years and normally service is excellent but today I have left with such a bad experience I am not sure I want to come back.
Pros - Food was hot and tasty :) Cons - Everything else. Waited at the window with only one car ahead of me at the window for about 3 or 4 minutes. Not forever but usually indicates they are slammed inside or a new person working. After I order and drive up to the now open window the lady that was working it was incredibly rude and direct full. I went to hand her 9.90 which was the price after the last 2 prices hikes in the last year and she laughed at me and said it was 10.40.
I paused because I was confused because they had literally just raised the price about 6 months ago and the lady said "It's 10.40. It's not my problem if you have a problem with that. It's been that way for two months". I paid her and asked for sweet and sour sauce and instead of getting the liquid containers she gave me two little cold packets of sweet and sour. I asked if they weren't giving out the containers anymore and she mumbled something I couldn't hear while shaking her head no and looking like she would rather be anywhere else on the planet. Little things like customer service matter. That was a perfect series of events that leave a bad taste in people's mouths. Hopefully she was just having an off day but I was not...
Read moreThe food at Panda is always amazing. I try to go 2 or 3 times a week. I’ve noticed at this particular spot that the majority of the tables have spilled food/sauces that don’t seem to get wiped down as regularly as they should? There’s one taller guy, if he’s dishing out the food, you get one scoop of entree, vs the short gal who’ll always do two (more food, ty)
Their soda machine has been out of Lemonade for probably a month. I always pour myself an Arnold Palmer - 1/2 tea & 1/2 lemonade, so I asked for the plain ice tea since I don’t do pop. The tea was ok, kinda bland and metal tasting. I asked another guy if he could add a “splash” of their Artisan flavors (peach/pomegranate/berry etc to help with the lame taste?
He literally chastised me that their Artisan Teas are paid for separately if I wanted one? I told him I didn’t, and reiterated that I had simply asked for a “Splash”
I know everyone is stressed out lately. But I’d rather prefer my Chinese dinner in a Zen-like state of enjoyment, than to be irritated by workers who never learned that the Customer is Always Right. Don’t worry, I’m not giving up on my Panda Fix! I’ll just drive to the next Off-Ramp down and visit the one on 185th, by Target...
