Big Town Hero — Restaurant in Hillsboro

My wife and I used to love this place and really enjoyed there sandwiches up until about a month or two ago. My wife was sick in bed and wanted a sandwich from this place so I proceeded to purchase 2 Turkey Avocado sandwiches one with bacon and one without. Now I understand it was was lunchtime the place was packed, angry customers glaring at the one gentlemen in the back making sandwiches ( I believe his name is Randy and I believe he is also the owner) in the back metaphorically tapping there foot on the ground waiting for there food just as I was, well the cashier gave me my order and I gladly left with my 2 sandwiches. Now once I arrive at home, I bite into my sandwich and it was great I was minding my own business when my wife calls for me to let me know that her sandwich had no turkey in it, and well since I didnt notice it because I love avocado mine didn't either uh oh, unhappy sick wife, doesnt call for a happy life. So I called this specific Big Town Hero to let the gentlemen making the sandwiches know hey, no meat anything we can do? From the get go he was super nice, irritated but nice none the less and offered to remedy the situation by providing 2 free sandwiches! Told my wife as she ate her half with no turkey and I had already scarfed mine away since it's a 10 minute drive to this place and I didn't care. Well about 10 minutes later I looked down at my phone to see a missed call and voicemail, it was Randy (if that's not his name I do apologize) He left a voicemail basically calling us liars without calling us liars, said the cashier verified there was turkey in said sandwiches and that was that. Being as I am not a confrontational person I was upset because A: I couldve just gone back and bought another 2 sandwiches, duh I can afford it. B: I know the cashier didn't check the sandwiches because from the point of view I had from where I was sitting I was sitting in front of the cashier dead on and saw everything, the sandwich order was a to go order first and foremost so the sandwiches were wrapped, the cashier couldn't have possibly torn open the wrapping or seen the owner making the sandwiches because the cashier was busy taking other peoples orders, therefore no one verified that there was meat in the sandwiches, but somehow he knew there was meat in them. Being as my wife and I work for the financial institution that funds this company, I asked myself what type of business owners are we helping now a days, when a simple matter such as this couldve been resolved quickly and effortlessly but instead I get insulted and indirectly called a liar. Needless to say we will never be purchasing any food products from this company again, and maybe during there rush times they should be a bit more...

Never go to this place. I just went to big town hero Off Cornelius pass by the Fred Meyers in Hillsboro. When I asked for no pickles the employee said he already effing put them on there and then got louder and said the F word again. I told him I can take the pickles off and I already tipped a dollar it's a freaking sandwich, and I don't appreciate it. I ask for the manager who is apparently named Randy. I called him and when the employee answered I asked to speak to Randy the manager. Randy told him to ask why? I said I wanna tell Randy how his employees are acting. I overheard Randy rudely tell him "do I look like I wanna talk to that guy?" Finally Randy got on the phone and I said I know you dont want to talk to me Randy but I figured I'd tell you about your employees. He said well what do you want me to do? He also told me he's having a bad day. I will never go there and I have never had worse service. Not to mention the cook was dumpy, unshaven, dirty shirt td and not very clean looking. Probly doesnt wash after using the restroom....

I ordered on Door dash. I tried not to leave this 1 star. I ordered the Veggie sandwich and the Avocado sandwich. The pictures shows a lot of veggies and sprouts. All I got was cheese and some terrible white sauce. I did not want to leave a bad review as I know people livelihood can be harmed by that. So I called the number on Door Dash for Big Hero and it is disconnected. So I looked up the location on Google called to talk the manager. There was no manager working there. So I explained what I ordered and they told be that it was my fault for not looking at the listed ingredients. I said I am looking the picture right now and it has tons of veggies and sprouts. All I got was some cheese and lettuce. I told them I did not want a refund, I just wanted to let them they made a mistake. Instead they blamed me for looking at the picture instead of the small listed ingredients, then they blamed Door Dash. You have to REALLY be bad for me to leave 1 star. But they managed to create a situation when I felt compelled to do so. I will never order from...
