The first time we went to Mr. Bento was when we came from Japan after a vacation. Our family misses some Japanese food like soba or udon soup and sukiyaki. So we tried Mr. Bento a semi bistro atmosphere restaurant that after we order our meal from the counter they will bring it to our table and then we can pick up our plate after meal and put it on the bin. We found out that their udon is authentic and taste like when we were in Japan and so is the grilled salmon. Their salad is fresh, has crunchy texture and taste good according to my palate. After that we keep coming to Mr. Bento and tried other dishes on their menu. Most of their foods are healthy food and have good smell.
BTW their rest room is clean, decent and has nice smell hand soap. They have free wifi :) Over all I'll give them 5 stars and will recommend to others. Yes we brought some of our friends already and...

Great value for their chicken teriyaki bento at $15. It comes with a leafy green/ carrot salad in a yummy dressing and 2 pieces of tempura / pot stickers with dipping sauce and rice (white or black mix). The chicken seems to be pre-marinated and has good char. The teriyaki sauce is slathered on top and is not too sweet and has a good flavor.
The sides offered here are the same as their Mr. bento burger location.
Their chili popcorn chicken was not crispy as i was expecting but it still tasted good like spicy orange chicken.
I am interested in trying their other menu items which at first glance appears to be very Korean-Chinese fusion like.
Parking is a bit limited yet most folks come here for take-out so spots open up fast.

Read moreI placed a to go order for my lunch but I made a mistake and ordered from a different restaurant. That's fine but when I arrived and asked for my order and told her what I had ordered, the owner took my payment. However, she didn't tell me that she didn't have a to go order. She started making my order and I tried to stop her and clarify that my food should be ready.
A different employee helped me figure out I was in the wrong place, but when I asked for a refund so I could go to the right place I was told to wait for my food and denied a refund.
I wish it had just been communicated to me that they didn't have my order before I paid. I lost $10 and a lunch because I did not have time to wait...
