This chef at this place has proven that good food does not have to be exotic or complex. Farm Barn cafe offers simple non fussy delicious food that is easy to relate and enjoy. Cool laid back vibe with a limited menu , but a easy menu with good choices and cooked with quality ingredients that reflects in the tasty food . Treat for Vegan lovers - The smoky Quinoa Veg Chilli is everything a Chilli needs to be minus the meat .! Pita Pizza - A Palm sized Margherita pizza on a home made Pita is a kids delight and a treat for adults Jalapeño poppers - what a unique take at this - No breading, fried split Chillis stuffed with cheese, served open faced with a side of pickled jalapeños . This dish definitely packs a kick Have a good meal at Farm Barn and walk around Duke Park to celebrate and digest it .

Update 04/27/2021 Due to the Pandemic, the cafe is only open from 11am to 2pm with outdoor seating only. Menu has changed. My friend and I ordered the Grilled Chicken Bowl, which was very fresh and delicious. Other friends ordered other items and said they were good too. My previous review: My family all loved the food here. Everything was fresh from farm to table. We always had our family Saturday or Sunday brunch here before we moved out of town. My husband and daughter’s most favorite meal was BLT. And it used to be my hangout place with friends. Whenever there’s a chance, I would stop by and have lunch here again. Miss eating here.

Been wanting to visit this place for a while, so with temperatures souring we decided today was the day. Stupid covid. The orientation building was open for bathrooms only. No paper maps but could access info on cell phones. Not much going on as in outside blooms besides the daffodils. No bike rentals. The cafe was closed. Plenty of space for walking and people did bring their own bikes to ride. The day was made by the beautiful orchids inside the greenhouse

The Cafe really bookends a trip to Duke Farms... You could arrive early for breakfast before taking your walk or bike ride through the park. If you time it right, you'll be back to the Cafe for a well earned lunch. The menu has been updated recently, so not so scattered. My new favorite is the Avocado and Tomato sandwich. Comes with arugula and pickled onions, but I have them skip the arugula. Special orders do not upset them. Good selection of drinks, including coffees, and if you aren't there for a meal there's always plenty of baked goods or sweet/salty stuff for snacking.
