Days Inn by Wyndham Hillsborough — Hotel in Hillsborough Township

I rate this hotel ZERO stars. What a filthy disgusting health hazard this place is! I have never seen anything like it.

They placed us in a smoking room when what I had booked was a pet-friendly room. But I was told that they were all sold out and there were no other rooms available. As I had just driven 12-hours to attend a funeral, I was hardly in the state of mind to find another hotel. I took a few sedatives to knock me unconscious. That is the only way I could tolerate this filth and stench.

Do you remember the story of Jack and the Bean Stalk? Well, I imagine that if one were to climb that bean stalk and come across the giant's heavily used ash tray that had never been cleaned, and were to then throw a pillow and blanket inside this giant ashtray and go to sleep, that you would experience what I experienced at the Days Inn Hillsborough.

The stench and filth of cigarettes make my throat raspy. And the next morning I awoke with BLACK ON MY TONGUE!!! It was as if I had been licking the inside of a dirty ash tray. I am shocked that I did not have an asthma attack.

I have stayed in 5-star hotels and 3-star hotels. I have said in youth hostels and I have stayed in a tent. And I can say with certainty that I would rather stay in the kennel where I board my dogs when I travel than to stay at the Days Inn Hillsborough. Or a horse barn. Or under a bridge. Anywhere is better than the Days Inn Hillsborough.

BTW the desk clerk told me that the hotel is always booked by an Asian Tour group (indeed the hotel was full of Asian people who did not speak English). So I suspect that most everyone else who makes a reservation gets stuck inside a smoking room because the tour group has solidly booked the cleaner rooms.

#&%@!!! YOU Days Inn corporate for such a filthy an unacceptable experience. Also, your lousy WiFi did not work -- big surprise -- and a video that I needed to complete for the funeral could not be completed. #&%@!!! YOU!!! I travel often and I will NEVER stay in a Days Inn again as retribution for my horrid experience at your hotel in Hillsborough. #&%@!!! YOU!!!

Anyone who works at the Days Inn Hillsborough for any length of time is going to get lung cancer. GET OUT for your own safety. There are plenty of hotels in the...

This is the worst hotel ever...the staff is no help at all...as I am Writing this review in the room I am staying in currently. Here's what has happened already. It took almost 15 minutes to check in that wasn't such a problem received my key card went to the room number It was assigned to, key card did not work looked at the number written thought the number was not correct went back to the front desk the front desk guy told me the wrong number and fixed.uoin first glance this place is extremely run down and out of date..the people they let stay here are unsavory looking to say the least but..but here's what happened now it's 2am we arrived around 9:30 last night...didn't get to bed around 11pm. when we. Travel we like to sleep with the TV on. So the TV volume is set at a level 7 in our room as we fall asleep. We were awoken to someone knocking on our room door.....since the peep hole on the dore has been filled in with paper or something like that...I'm not opening up the door because you never know what or who is behind them...they knock twice after a few mins there is a a loud knocking banging on the wall where the TV is. So I decide to call the front desk. The front desk informs me that there has a been a noise complaint in our room. I told them that we have been asleep for several hours and said our TV was on...the front desk person then interrupts me and says "oh yeah it's the TV then" without coming and investigating the complaint or actually calling us in our room....but they have the guest or if it where the front desk themselves banging on the walls and doors..at this point the tv is on level four and can barely here it now that I am awake and can't go back to sleep.....I feel personally attacked. I feel threatened and scared it scared my wife...and the fact that they allowed the other guest to violently knock on the wall to the point that that mirror literally was shaking This place is not worth $120 I spent to stay the night I will be demanding a refund and a free night stay somewhere else......I do not recommend this hotel will never...

This place is simply disgusting we checked in on Friday,15,2018 as we stepped into the lobby to check in the smell of cigarettes were in the air which was an immediate turn off, And shortly after that we were told that the pool was closed for the season so one of the reasons we even decided to come to this place was taken away from us but alright it’s okay and we get past it we step into the elevator to go to our room on the second floor the elevator was simply nasty it smelled so disgusting I couldn’t believe anything could even stink like that. But once again we disregarded it ( I am sitting in there cafe/ breakfast station writing this) okay so we find out rooms on the second floor and already our key cards aren’t working we have been standing outside the room trying every possible way to open the door with that key card and no luck but then we try again and it opens we open the door to the room and a smell of dust and bleach and a stinky odor hits our noses we go and walk into the rooms it stinks so bad especially room 212 smelled the worst I would not recommend Room 215s curtains were very filthy and on the bed sheets in room 215 there was an orange/red stain and in room 212 on the bed by the window there was stains on the corner of the sheets the bathroom was okay but I wouldn’t use any of the towels there toiletries were provided such as soap and shampoo and conditioner no lotion was provided vending machines and laundry was available in the hotel but for money and the vending machine is VERY OVERPRICED ITS 2 dollars for a bottle of sprite which in my mind is very overpriced the bathroom counter may I add was very dusty the food place downstairs on the first floor was okay but they didn’t serve a lot only cereal the tea machine was broken and the apple juice leaving you with a. Choice of milk or orange juice they had bread Froot Loops and Raisin Bran FOR THE MONEY THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH IT GO TO ANOTHER HOTEL AND READ REVIEWS THIS...
