Sweet Parlor Small Batch Ice Cream 🍦 — Restaurant in Hillsborough Township

My best friend and I went out for pizza and then wanted to try a dessert place and so her brother randomly came across this place for us to try we did upon calling ahead and speaking to the owner Tim so we were willing to take the drive 45 minutes away because it sounded like we would not be disappointed. After getting there and meeting Tim and his part time worker didn’t get his name but from start to finish they both were so accommodating trying various flavors before deciding. They were very patient and always showed us kindness and cared very much about making us happy. Then we began to order getting their bubble waffle cone that was so light and so easy to bite and pull apart when eating our icecream. I got strawberry shortcake that was so good had pieces of shortcake in icecream and I also got mango sorbet which was beyond my expectation. I loved everything I got from Sweet Parlor as did my Bestie. It is definitely not gonna be our last visit. Thank you Tim for your kindness and generosity and your Part Time worker who was equally pleasant and smiling and helpful to me and my Bestie. Hope to see u soon again. This was my second time at Sweet Parlor so I had the opportunity to talk more with the owner. Both experiences were wonderful, and this time I learned more about the owner’s ideas behind the menu, etc. There’s a lot of Asian flavors, namely Filipino and as a Filipino myself they were definitely spot on and delicious. I’m waiting for the restock of the Calamansi, but the Ube, Thai Tea, Brown Sugar Earl Grey, and Puff Cheeto flavors are all exceptional. The owner was also kind to offer me free boba topping with my Brown Sugar Earl Grey as I believe is new. Also, the Coffee flavor is certainly made with real coffee as it’s stronger in taste than most generic coffee ice creams.

The owner is very kind and passionate about what he does. Right now I would consider this as a hidden gem, even more so since the shop currently doesn’t have an exterior sign/awning so it may be hard to find for first-timers. It’s one of the best ice cream places I’ve been to with unique flavors that are all homemade in-house. I’ll be looking forward to keep coming back and supporting them with the bonus perk that they have a loyalty program. The inside is comfortable as well, with nice Instagram-esque decor...
