Hillsborough local, upgraded my phone here yesterday. Kaylan was awesome. Night and day experience coming from Bridgewater Verizon where I was treated like dirt and walked out without a phone. I came home and told my wife we're coming to TCC for all our upgrades now. I even bought a $40 pure.gear screen protector, knowing I could get a better one online, but I hoped it would boost Kaylan's commission and support a local business. Nothing against him, but when I got home I noticed he installed the protector a little crooked and it wasn't covering part of the screen. I fully blame the design of the pure.gear alignment tray and not Kaylan.
So, I thought I'd stop in today and see if they could replace it. Unfortunately, the experience was very different. The manager or owner (I'm not sure which) was right away dismissive. I think he looked me in the eye once in 10 minutes. I told him I wasn't here to waste anyone's time or ask for a favor, and I wouldn't be here if I had bought it 3 weeks ago or put it on myself, but it was installed by his employee on a brand new phone yesterday. He said all he would do is try to peel it up and put it back down but no promises. I'll give him credit that he did try, and the screen protector is on straight now, but he had to peel it up a second time to remove some dust that got underneath when he was fixing it, and now it's bubbling in one spot. I felt like I'd be making a scene if I called out the bubbles, and the manager seemed out of patience, so I thanked him for his help and left. But I know that by next week I'm going to be buying another $40 screen protector on Amazon to replace this one.
Before today I was going to leave a 5-star review, and the 4 stars are because Kaylan was a great sales rep, and I'm hoping I caught the manager on a bad day. We'll be back to upgrade my wife's phone, but I learned my lesson about buying accessories from TCC, so we'll order her screen protector and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDonāt waste your time going to this indirect store! I recently went here to switch my carrier to Verizon and also to buy a new phone. Fernando helped me with the transaction. While changing the line, I explicitly stated that I donāt need any protection plan but somehow that got sneaked in and when I received the bill couple of days later, device protection is charged. I had to spend 1 hour on the phone with customer service trying to remove the protection. When I went to pick up my new iPhone, I specifically asked if they would set it up in store. Even then Fernando didnāt mention it is offered at an additional fee. Upon spending close to an hour in the store, they generated an invoice including $30 in set up fee. When questioned, they rudely said, we will wipe the whole thing you can go and set it up at home. Not once were they apologetic for not being transparent about the cost up front. Itās a shame how they treat customers in store! The best part is after receiving all devices, I called customer service regarding billing questions, since my next month estimated bill was extremely high. None of the offers the store told me was even applied to my account and bill. The customer service agent was not even aware of the offer the store was offering.
Save some time and energy and find some other verizon store...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAbsolutely awful experience with this store. Somewhat recently, My family and I went to the store when it was located behind where it is now and had switched from previously having T-mobile. We were told that in order to receive compensation for our phones we would be mailed a box in which we would put our old phones from T-Mobile to send them and within a couple of weeks we would get receive Visa Gift Cars that could be used to pay off our previous plan from T-Mobile. We have been in and out of the country lately and work for everyone in my family has been tremendously time consuming. We never received notice nor the box to ship the phones, so we waited as we were told to do so. Now these past couple of days we have been calling and going in store to discuss what we can do. One of the employees at the Verizon store located where Radioshak once was basically gave us a shrug and said there is nothing we can do except pay out of pocket since there was only a certain amount of days we could have sent the phones. (Which we were not told about) We never got the box and could not send the phones and now are stuck paying Verizon for our plan now and T-Mobile for our previous phones. Absolutely dissatisfied with...
