This was my first time here as I was wanting to bathe my dog and was told that they do self service pet washes here. I came in and was greeted by two employees. One of them took down some of my information after me telling him I wanted to bathe my dog. This process was quick. After the employee took me back to see the wash station. He walked me through where everything was and how everything worked then left me to begin. The wash station was very clean and accommodating as there were three tubs. I believe there is supposed to be wash mitts and brushes available but I did not see any when I was there. They offer one kind of soap, which is hypoallergenic and one conditioner. I like that the soap is hypoallergenic but I’d like to see more options. Previously to this I was taking my dogs to Tractor Supply Co. in comparison this store was cleaner and had more tubs but Tractor Supply Co. offers a little bit more. Such as; more brushes, combs, mitts, and soaps. I like the soap option at the other store because it’s specific to what I feel I need. They have degreasing, deodorizing, deshedding, conditioning, soothing and more. Tractor Supply Co. is also cheaper being $10 compared to $15 and offers a buy 3 get 1 free coupon compared to a buy 5 for $40 coupon Pet Supplies Plus offers. The rest of the store was also nice and clean, they have big signs hanging from the ceilings pointing you to what you’re looking for. They have good options but from what I saw the prices on dog food was about $2 more than the same dog food...
Read moreGreat spot to wash the pooch without having to call a house cleaning service immediately after. Both our rescues ❤️ the dog bath.. okay, well, they may not love the dog bath, but they love that when they're done they get to pick out a toy/treat to enjoy. Who doesn't love a little puppy pampering? The store offers every variety of dog food you can think of, the staff is animal sweet and knowledgeable without being pushy. Staff members are always super accommodating with the dogwash. They never seem to mind a phone call to check on availability and don't rush you out...and they always, always clean up the area before they welcome you at the tub area. As for the rest of the store, there is a large area of cat food and supplies, a small animal area, and everything you need for a Betta haven, even the fishy. Their prices are fair, and the store is spotless. Join the...
Read moreI remembered that I needed “ Lickables” for my cats and was in the parking lot in Hillsborough, right in front of the store. I hadn’t been in the store since it was owned by a different company under a different name. I went in and was pleasantly surprised. It was a different setup, with a friendlier atmosphere, organized, and just a different vibe than the previous tenants. The woman at the register ( whom I later found out to be the owner) asked me what I was looking for, and immediately we started chatting about why I was in the store and what my cats ate. At that point I found what I needed and paid. I enjoyed this conversation: A small business owner with a great location, an obvious love of animals ands welcoming environment . I will shop here when I am at the ShopRite plaza in Hillsborough while spreading the word...
