I recently had the pleasure of visiting this remarkable Thai restaurant Theo Chili House, and I am absolutely delighted to share my experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the charming and intimate ambiance that enveloped the space.

The interior of the restaurant exuded an air of mystery with its dim lighting, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The walls were adorned with a striking combination of red and black, adding a touch of elegance to the surroundings. Multiple Buddha frames tastefully displayed on the walls added a spiritual and serene touch.

As I entered, I noticed that the place was bustling with activity, a testament to its popularity. Janice, the friendly hostess, warmly greeted us and promptly found us seats. Her genuine hospitality instantly made us feel at home.

Janice's attentiveness extended beyond mere seating arrangements. She took the time to guide us through the menu, offering her expertise and recommendations. She patiently inquired about our preferences, from appetizers to main courses, and even ensured to inquire about our desired spice levels. During our group visit, we had the pleasure of trying multiple items, and one standout was the spring rolls – a favourite that we've since ordered for takeout on multiple occasions.

Everything about eating at Thai Chili House was a 5 star experience. It starts as soon as you walk in with really nice atmosphere. As today was our first visit my wife and I needed to study the menu. Not a problem, never felt rushed. We got the Sampler App Combination which was more than enough for the two of us. We each got 1 of 4 different appetizers and they were all terrific as were the accompanying sauces. It was nice, the sauces were not just plopped down but each was explained to us and the presentation was A+. The pan fried dumpling was outstanding but the vegetable curry puff somehow managed to be even better. I did not think that was possible.

In an uncharacteristic move, my wife and I decided on the same thing, the Crispy Thai Chicken. We usually try to order different things so we can share and get to taste more things. The chicken came with baby Bok Choy, Jasmine Rice and a Sweet Chile Sauce, and I mean a lot of sauce.. All of it on the side so nothing was soggy because of it it I not only dipped my crispy chicken in it but I also dipped my baby Bok Choy in it. Just like the name said, it was a sweet sauce that was not overly sweet but extremely tasty. The sweet chili sauce was not hot yet after a couple of dips into it my mouth was tingling a bit. Both my wife and I do not do well with overly hot sauces but this sauce provided just the right amount of tingle. They should call it Sweet & Tingle sauce. The Jasmine rice was cooked to perfection.

The service was great. Our water glasses were constantly being filled with delicious ice cold water. Definitely not water from a Hillsborough tap. The service staff could not have been more pleasant and attentive.

I will be going back to this restaurant very soon and very often. We might even bring a bottle of wine with us. Every other occupied table was smart enough to bring their own wine. All-in-all, I'd give Thai Chili House 6 stars if i could. The only possible drawback, it is a little more costly than your average asian takeout but just bring your credit card and enjoy. It is worth every penny...
