Coconutz Sportz Bar — Restaurant in Hilton Head Island

We've ordered from here each of the past two nights and wanted to give dine in a try. The food was great and the service was good. But we had a major issue at the end of our dinner. We had just finished eating and paying, spending over $90. The man who had been bringing our food then brought out 3 dessert dishes, saying "for the kids" (we have a 4 yr old/2 yr old/2 month old). We were slightly confused as we hadnt ordered this, but thought they were doing something nice for us and the kids. After looking around, we realized another family was sitting a few tables behind us and they had ordered the desserts. My wife immediately goes inside to let the staff know, and the man who brought them to us apologized and said it's okay. So we let our kids start eating. But the manager comes out asking if we were going to pay and if we wanted to keep the desserts. We told her it was brought to us by mistake and she walked away saying "well she had to go figure it out." We then witnessed her giving the man who brought the dessert to us a hard time (he was so nice and hardworking), and arguing with our waitress who said it was okay and that we didn't need to pay. We were so uncomfortable that we left, telling our kids we couldn't eat the dessert and leaving them nearly untouched to be thrown away. It was an honest mistake and we were truly taken aback that she handled it the way that she did. Completely unprofessional and inconsiderate. We weren't trying to get anything for free and certainly didn't want to get anyone in trouble, but we ended up suffering for their mistake - our kids asked the whole way home why they couldn't eat the dessert. We're staying at the resort all week and joked about how we could eat here every night - now they've lost...

Can I please give negative stars??!?!?This was the worst experience of my life at any restaurant, bar or lack there of. Easily the most overrated and poorly run business on HHI. We seated ourselves near the 2 projection screens which were very poorly setup, (1 was so bad the lines on the football field were curved.) After roughly 15 minutes we were finally greeted with no smile and a rushed sense of feel. As if our presence was a burden. I should add the place was extremely under staffed. Not our fault however, 1 waitress who was working as hard as she could. A bartender if you could call Tanya that... more so an angry teenager with an attitude problem. They were managed by a man who couldn't handle a dispute between a tree and the stump it stood on. Completely lost, looking like a deer in headlights. Clearly not fit for a Saturday night in the service industry. We finally got our food after 45 minutes, undercooked "hot" wings...after flagging down our bar keep we requested the screen be set to the biggest game of the year and asked for the audio to be changed over as no one seemed to be watching the games being shown. Our response, "I just run the bar." Nothing more needed to be said, the manager was found, asked what we would owe for the 2 beers we had and 2 wings we choked down. Of course we were greeted with a full bill. Absolutely astonishing, a true joke of a business. How they have any stars is Beyond me. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND HARD EARNED MONEY!!! THIS IS A RUN DOWN JOKE AND YOU WILL REGRET IT! STAY HOME OR CHOOSE WISELY AND RUN FAR...

I dined here multitudes of times while staying at the Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Resort. This is an extremely affordable Sports Bar with excellent food for the price. And the food is not the only thing great about this Sports Bar. The bar tenders are the best in Beaufort County, and some of the best I've ever had anywhere I've been in the whole world for that matter, and I've had bar tenders in the far East as well because I've traveled to China and Japan as well. I've also lived in CA, MA, and CT, and FL, and I've never had bar tenders who treat their patrons the way I was treated here. Clearly, this Sports Bar was hands-down the BEST experience I had while I was a resident of the surrounding areas of Hilton Head Island, SC. The reason I frequented this Sports Bar was because I had recently sold my condo in Bluffton, SC and I was staying at the resort. Just to let you know, this Sports Bar is located within the confines of the Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Resort on Folly Field Road. Please read my review of the Resort. Please come to the Sports Bar, but at all costs avoid the Resort. The Resort stay was the worst hotel stay I've ever had in my life and I've stayed in hotels all around the world and all around the county, not inclusive to some of the states I listed earlier because at the beginning of 2015, I was making my way across the WA state as I had bought a condo there, but that deal fell through.
