Island Club of Hilton Head — Hotel in Hilton Head Island

One of the best decisions I have ever made was to purchase my Ocean View unit 3 years ago! I have always wanted to visit Hilton Head Island, and when I had the opportunity to not only visit but to purchase a property, I was ecstatic! I was in the right place, at the right time when I contacted Erin Williams about options. I ended up purchasing my current unit.....sight unseen! Erin was absolutely TERRIFIC to work with!! She answered all of my questions, clarified all of my options, and explained the processes for everything from visiting to renting to purchasing; all without any pressure whatsoever. Upon my arrival, I was absolutely THRILLED! I had suffered personal loss, was emotionally overwhelmed, and needed a well-deserved break....and was more than surprised; I was in tears again. My first visit was fantastic. Every aspect about the entire trip exceeded my expectations. Erin took the time to meet with me, and show my friend around the property. Shelly and the office staff are simply the BEST! They did so much to make our stay pleasant. The Brad and the security people were friendly, knowledgeable of the area, and accommodating to the guests. Since everything has been so amazing, I have purchased a 2nd unit in Seawatch...again, site unseen! I know that this will be even more amazing than I could imagine....a dream come true! I now have a 'home away from home', and could not be happier with my choice of destinations and the fine, wonderful people involved to make it all...

Finally got checked in today after the woman at the front desk had an attitude. Staying in 108 , the couch was broken, which was a pull out for the kids to sleep on. They brought a roll away bed that can only sleep one. Towels were dirty and stained. Was unable to use the pool area because it was caution taped off. We took kids to hot tub area because it was the only thing open. There were other children there so we thought it was no big deal. All of a sudden a security guard shows up and tells us we have to leave because no one under the age of 10 allowed. We were in process of getting kids out of hot tub when he returns and starts getting smart. Threatened to call the law on the kids. I ask his name and he said it was Jake and did did I need him to write it down for me. He got in my face and started telling at me. We drove 9 hours to get here today and paid a lot of money for this d place to be treated with such disrespect in a matter of 5 minutes this jerk ruined our vacation. We were willing to o verlook the other stuff but this was just rediculous to be treated this way and have him threaten to call the law because we were taking a few minutes to get the kids out. I will never be back and hopefully the resort will get rid of this disrespectful Jake ...

We have enjoyed the Island Club for years. While we cannot make it to SC every year, when we do, we call it our “happy place.” We recently spent time at Island Club (April 18-28, 2025) and had a different experience. Aside from the facility and grounds showing signs of wear and tear (non working elevators, bricks holding up railings, holes in hall and stairway cement, balconies looking tired and worn and DIRTY, rusty and sad), we were most surprised by the people noises after dark - band of what sounded like kids running rampant yelling , swearing and screaming after 10 PM - and the dogs! Dogs everywhere, barking, messing, fighting and disturbing the peace and quiet we are familiar with during our Island Club stays. We felt we were at a dog park and a teen party place. I don’t ever remember all the dogs and the party noises. We have been there during spring break times, Christmas, New Year’s, and Fall visits. We didn’t know who to contact during our stay, and I just stumbled across your website today. We only mention these concerns to you because we hope this is not the new normal at our beloved vacation place and hope a return visit will bring back the relaxing memories we’ve...
