Folly Field Beach — Attraction in Hilton Head Island

So my niece asked me to bring her back some souvenir from the Atlantic Ocean. So I got some ocean water in a plastic bottle and labeled it so not to drink by accident. While there noticed a lot of jellyfish on the shore and sand. My sister sent me an article about this that this happens yearly it seems. It was kind of cool to see them even though maybe dead or dying. They to me look like a little alien form with a membrane. Beach as always was beautiful and they had some chairs set up to sit in. Quaint beach with good mix of locals and tourists. The facilities were mostly clean, perhaps need a little updating. Nice boardwalk out to the beach area. I was also thankful for the shaded parking area. It was easy to space out and for a period during the day when there is more beach traffic lifeguards are available. The sand is clean and the water is calmer than say a Florida beach. The pay to park feature was a little odd and that technology could use some updating too. Overall...
