I really wish the bakery and restaurant was separate. The bakery was great, both service and food. A little chaotic but was good.
The restaurant, the service was bad. We sat down and looked the menu our server came out we ordered our drinks and a appetizer. 10-15 minutes later she came out with our drinks and the appetizer. We ordered our food. She came back 20-30 minutes later with our food. I had finished my soda by this time. She dropped the food off and went right back into the kitchen area. She then went to 3 more tables before I could flag her down for a refill. She didn't seem to look at any of the tables besides the one she was bringing food to. She brought me my refill and quickly ducked back into the kitchen area. All 3 of my kids could have done for a refill on their drinks, but we couldn't speak up fast enough. We finished our meal and sat there for 20 minutes done. I had not seen our server at all. I had to flag down another server, thinking ours had left, to get the bill. After the other server went to the kitchen our server popped out put the bill on the table and retreated back in the kitchen, I had my card in hand to pay but again she just disappeared. 10 minutes later she came out and served another table their food. I had placed the receipt and card on the corner next to where she came out. She walked right past, did this 2 more time, and finally came out to get my card. She did run it pretty quickly and I signed and we left. Never once asked why all the kids and wife had half the meal left and I had barely touched my soup. Food was cold and not that flavorful. But 0 attempt to ask how the meal ever went.
Maybe just the one server, the rest of the servers seemed to be taking care of...
Read moreOur server was kind and helpful but beyond that our experience was horrible.
We were passing through town and found this place online. Their website made it sound like it was a great place to eat. The descriptions of the food made us drool however we were about to be very disappointed.
Here's why:
-The food was way over priced for the quality. I ordered the prime rib for $28 and it was served on a plastic plate with a crazy "medley" of over cooked broccoli, celery, green beans, shredded carrots, and water chestnuts. -The prime rib was barely warm and full of gristle and under seasoned. -The Caesar salad I ordered was small and very basic with bottled dressing. -Their decor was very dated and their Christmas trees with still up on the 25th of July. -They are inconsistent with their application of social distancing. They would not let our family of 7 (2 toddlers) sit at one table together however we noticed other families of 7 were sat together. -The woman's bathroom wasn't stocked with hand soap.
We expressed some of our concerns however we quickly realized that our expectations were poorly managed due to the contrast between their website and menu description and our actual experience in the restaurant.
We left...
Read moreWe drove by this place every weekend and finally took the time to stop. We ordered our food and some to go as we ordered. After our food was brought out we NEVER seen our waitress again. We waited for refills, no waitress. We waited for desert, no waitress. We waited for our bill, no waitress. After waiting a good 30 minutes we finally went to the hostess and asked if our waitress left. After another wait we find out she abandoned ALL of her tables as a larger party came in. Worst service I have ever seen. Luckily a new waitress came to save the day. Well at this point we were so over done even needing refills. We chose to skip desert as we just wanted out. We asked for a bill, didn’t have the to go order. They didn’t even know of the order. She did grab it and even helped with some pop to go. This original waitress does NOT know what customer service is and left a terrible reflection on us. I want to however commend the poor girl that had to step up and finish the job that the original waitress didn’t finish. I hope that the girl that stood up and finished the job is highly respected there and recognized for her efforts. It’s sad to say, but first impressions last and this is now our story to tell...
