Papa Nick's — Restaurant in Hinesburg

Title: Continuous Poor Service and Miscommunication

I had two separate experiences with Papa Nick's, both of which left me feeling disappointed.

The first occasion involved a visit where I hoped to discover vegan-friendly options. Despite waiting 7 minutes to inquire, I found the staff lacking knowledge about their menu. Furthermore, they couldn't accommodate my request for a half-baked pizza to be finished at home.

Fast forward a month or so, I decided to give Papa Nick's another try. This time I opted for their Beyond Burger, ordered online for pickup. However, upon arrival, the restaurant was unexpectedly closed, despite their sign clearly stating they were open. There was no indication of a change in operational hours or a notice about them being on vacation.

To make matters worse, my several attempts to reach out were met with an unhelpful voicemail, leaving me with $50 locked up in their online ordering system, and no meal to show for it.

These continuous instances of poor customer service and miscommunication have been very disheartening. I expected more transparency and better staff knowledge from a place like...

For my husband's and my date night we chose papa nicks..I was pretty disappointed by our dinner..I had ordered the chopped steak and mashed potatoes with no gravy and a salad..my plate was covered in gravy..our waitress said it was an easy fix and offered me a fresh scoop of potatoes..which didnt fix it! our salads which was suppose to be an appetizer didnt arrive until we were almost done our dinner..which was also disappointing! Our waitress stated that in her defense our dinners came out quicker then she expected! Our salads had 1 cherry tomatoe, 1 piece of cuc and 1 piece of pepper all the rest was lettuce..no cheese or croutons.. not to mention a very small portion of ranch to go with it..we were also never offered a refill on our sodas..this was the 2nd time we have had a bad experience needless to say we...

After 12 years of spotty service and food, I will NEVER go back to this place. I went for the breakfast and it is usually good. Our waitress was a real nasty lady with no smile or greeting. Our food came out very fast...too fast it seems because my sausage links were pink in the middle, but the bacon was burnt beyond eating. Of course our waitress never checked back in the entire meal, so when I let her know my pork was rare and could not eat the bacon she only said OK. I was never offered cooked sausage or even an apology. In fact, not only did she not take any thing off the bill, she charged me for a coffee I did not order. If this was a one time problem I might not be so harsh, but this restaurant continues to have spotty food and horrible service...they are lucky they are the only...
