Baker Brothers Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Hobbs

I wasn't very impressed with the waitress Morgan. Nor the place being very Handicap Accessible for my chair. I am glad that I am able to walk short distances, because there's no way it is easy to get any chair in OR out of that bathroom. The steep ramps and sharp corners make it hard for chairs, and even the steep ramps made it hard for people walking in & out of the bathroom.

Our glasses would stay dry until we flagged down Morgan to come over and get our order for more. When we asked if they had certain type of alcohol, that was ON THE MENU as an ingredient in several mixed drinks, she quickly interrupted & said, "We don't have that!" When it was pointed out to her the menu has it, she still didn't even bother to check, just said, "Well I haven't seen it since I have been here."

When food was brought to the table, I asked her for some more sour cream for my potato, 5, 10, 15 minutes passed of her still not returning with it, I rolled up to the bar to get it myself. She was washing dishes and glasses.

When our checks came it was mild chaos, she didn't know who got what and had to go back to fix receipts. When my husband & I got ours we had no choice as to the amount of tip we could leave her. It was already calculated on our bill at 18%. I didn't feel she deserved that high of a tip. I was super pissed.

I HIGHLY SUGGEST that you pay for each drink as you get it and tip your waitress as you see fit!! And if you get Morgan, expect...

Okay food and HORRIBLE service. I went there just to play pool and all the employees want to do is hassle us. We were the only ones there and they didn't want to let my daughter in the pool area if she wasn't eating. The manager FRAN is the rudest lady. She kept walking by our table making us feel like she was seeing if our food was gone so she could kick us out. They have unwritten rules for the pool area. They charged me for 7 beers when me and my friend only had five. The servers have to be the worst in Hobbs. They probably couldn't hack it at more upscale and classy places so they work there. I would not recommend this place at all. the workers make you feel uncomfortable and like they just want to get rid of you.

I have never ate at this establishment before. My sister thought it would be a great idea. We came in on 12/15 at 1:10pm. There was a sign stating to seat yourself. My sister and I waited about 15-20 minutes. We sat right next to the office. There was a girl in there with her feet propt up. Servers looked at us. The proceeded to customers who came in after us. How embarrassing. I was a general manager in a restraunt for 5 years. And never in my days have I seen something like that before. I called and asked for a manager. He seemed like he didn’t care about the situation. If you would like I would love to fire and re train new staff for you even though I own my own business I will take the time out to do that...
