So I’m writing this in the parking lot because I’m so frustrated....this is the first review I have ever written. My husband and I stopped at this McDonald’s location this morning to grab a coffee on our way home from a weekend getaway. We make it a point to always be kind and friendly to staff at any establishment we visit because we know how hard they work, and we know how many difficult people they must deal with every day. I was not upset or very bothered by the fact that no one at this location offered us a smile or a greeting during our time in the restaurant. I know it is early, and I’m sure they aren’t all morning people. I can look past that. I ordered an iced caramel macchiato. I have been give the wrong thing after ordering this at other locations, so I made sure to double check with the woman that was at the register to make sure it was an iced caramel macchiato. She assured me she had it down correctly. When they called our order number and handed us our food they let us know that my coffee would be out shortly....no problem! We waited a few minutes and a woman with blonde braids brought a large hot coffee to our table. “O I’m sorry” I said, “It was supposed to be an iced caramel macchiato.” I gave her an apologetic smile...mistakes happen. I was then VERY surprised when the woman reacted by snatching my coffee off of the table, rolling her eyes, and walking back to the kitchen without a word. She then loudly called to the woman at the register and said “you need to make sure and ask them if they want it hot or cold” to which the woman replied “just pour it over ice”. I am now sitting in my car sipping my hot, watered-down coffee poured over ice (which has melted). I could have stayed to explain to them that an iced caramel macchiato is made in a completely different way, but I was too upset and embarrassed to continue dealing with the rude and unprofessional employees at this establishment. I am very...
Read morePlease send someone from upper management to check this location out undercover!!! The atmosphere is not a good feeling, the employees seem to act like they really didnt want to be there. No smiles, greetings or customer service interactions at all. There was no organization behind the counter. While traveling we stopped in just to get 2 oatmeals went inside upon receiving the oatmeal took them out of the bag. I didn't feel any heat I removed the lid stuck my finger in & it was Cold. I went back to the counter & told the employee she said "I can make them over for you" no apologies it was like she already knew but wasn't expecting me to check. The employee made 1 turned & looked at me then said someone had to go in the back to get more oatmeal. The lines started to backup employees were standing around noone greeted them nor did anyone step up to a register to take orders, some people actually left. A customer had to ask for ketchup & salt 3 times after getting their food. A black male stuck his head around the corner from the back & said someone need to get on the register & take orders. Finally my oatmeal was finish when I looked at it I said just give me my money back. It was disgusting looking I asked to speak to the manager a lady came with very long eyelashes I explained to her that I was very embrassessed for them there was no organization behind the counter & Expecially since I was black & the employees were also. I told her that some of the white customers walked out. (SMH) All employees had there cell phone in their back pocket including the manager. Lead by example, Leadership tells it All. Will never stop there again!!!! Good luck...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars, I would. This place should not be in business. We were traveling from Tennessee to Alabama and decided to stop here for a quick bite to keep moving. I placed a mobile order at 9:47 PM. According to the posted store hours, the dining room closes at 11:00 PM and the drive-thru at midnight.
Our order was simple—no modifications. When we arrived at the drive-thru, only two cars were ahead of us. Once it was our turn, no one responded for over five minutes. By then, several cars had lined up behind us. A customer in a nearby car actually got out, walked to the window, and returned with his food—so we assumed the speaker system was down.
We pulled up to the window and were told by an employee hanging out of it that the store was closed. Meanwhile, we watched another employee deliver a bag of food to someone parked outside. We explained that we had a mobile order and requested a refund. The employee said his manager told him we needed to cancel through the app. I had already tried, but the app stated the store had to process the refund.
We explained this, and the employee walked away—then never returned. We pulled up to the second window and saw no one, though we could hear employees inside laughing. I attempted to call the phone numbers listed for the location, but all were either busy or disconnected.
Fortunately, corporate customer service was helpful. They refunded our order and filed a complaint with the owner. Still, I doubt anything will change at this location.
Do yourself a favor and STAY FAR AWAY...
