Three meals $76.00 served on single layered Styrofoam plates. Server was in LaLa land the entire time we were there. Although she was having to take care of seven or eight people at a time while another girl sat on her chair behind the counter doing God knows what, but it sure wasn’t helping the waitress. The appetizers were a joke. We ordered corn nuggets and I swear they went to ingles grocery store across the street to get them out the freezer section. I ordered the three meat plate, which I asked for two orders of there fall of the bone ribs and shredded brisket. Well the shredded brisket was honestly pulled pork with a monstrosity of horrid bbq sauce that drowned the meat you couldn’t even tell if the meat was grilled smoked or cooked in a croc pot. The ribs where cooked but God knows where and they definitely were not “fall of the bone”.My lady ordered the catfish fillet and she said it was decent but a little fishy and her bbq baked beans had the same horrid bbq sauce in them. They two were drowning in the horrid sauce. Her son ordered the Tuesday special which is half of a bbq chicken. We found out why it is the Tuesday special because it honesty was some sort of left overs from a previous cooking date and re-warmed in a water based pan in the oven to rehydrate the overcooked chicken that was once again drowned in this horrid overly sweet red sauce they called bbq. I don’t normally write reviews or complain but honestly they need a serious revamp of their cooking skills or habits and training on the over use of the same sauce on EVERYTHING THEY COOK!!!! Better luck to y’all in the future, but please go up to the next exit to eat or go to the Loves gas station across the street and get a better...
Read moreI placed an in house to go order for 3 chopped chicken bbq sandwiches, no sauce, a small fry and a small brunswick stew. No problem. After 30+ mins leaving with my order, I was getting ready to eat my sandwich and the sandwich was a dried up, burnt piece of fried chicken (I have always gotten baked chopped chicken bbq) that looks like the frozen kind they sell in the store. I took the 3 sandwiches back in and stated again what I asked for which was 3 chopped chicken bbq sandwiches, no sauce. After waiting prob 10 more mins I got 3 new sandwiches. Opened the 1st box, it was the same sandwich, but just chopped. Very frustrated, I went back in and said "this is fried chicken again. I want chopped chicken bbq sandwiches." I have been to this place many times with my husband, and I always get the same thing. Baked chicken bbq that is chopped on a sandwich. It isn't rocket science. You all may not care that you lost 2 customers tonight, but I want you to know the experience and food were sorry. Horrible. What is to be expected when you leave teeny boppers running your restaurant. 2 little girls up front can't be more than 14 or 15. That's pushing it. A "manager" in the kitchen on the line only been there 2 months and doesn't know a thing about customer service. None of them do frankly. I was treated rudely. Never again. Don't waste your time or money. You wait forever for sorry food. I'm very disappointed. I'm only giving yall 1's bc it's required to leave this review. I don't know what has changed, but I suggest you change it back before you lose your business. Either way, me and my husband will never be back and I won't recommend to...
Read moreArrived and had to wait for table to be cleaned. When time to order they were out of salads, and only had slaw with dinner plate. We're out of lemon for sweet tea. Talked to the young man cooking if I could see their pork BBQ and he replied they only have the chopped and not sliced which was fine with me but it was very dry looking. I ordered the chopped steak which they were sold out of meaning they didn't have any already cooked but he put three on the grill. So that told me the chopped steak was already prepared and not cooked to order. This was the second time I had been there to eat and was not pleased with the first visit but thought we would give it a second chance. Wrong decision. After receiving our drink of tea and had no lemon and no salad for the meals we just got up and left. The BBQ like I said was dry in chunks and not pulled or in strips of pork so again for the second time in we were very dissatisfied with what they had to offer which was limited and I personally think anyone driving north should drive the additional twenty miles north to exit 47 (Newnan exit) and give Sprayberry's BBQ than be disappointed in the food and service. Neither compares to Hudson BBQ in Douglasville off Hwy 78. Just can't get any better in my opinion but you know what they say about opinions. Hudson BBQ sauce is homemade and it just can't be best. Get the grilled Texas toast instead of the hamburger buns that comes on the plate with fresh cut homemade french fries. Wouldn't waist my time and money...
