Block Party Holladay Food Hall — Restaurant in Holladay

I came in with one other individual on the evening of September 17th. Overall, the food was delicious, and the cook was kind and responsive to the developments I’ll talk through. The reasoning for the low rating has to do with the older woman working the register. Upon questions about the food, she was dismissive and didn’t even look to understand/explain.. that’s alright though, it’s water under the bridge and the food is the main event. After a decent wait, half of the food came out. We sat with one plate between the two of us long enough to get the awkward, “you should start eating” prompt.. after finishing up, and waiting an additional 10 minutes, we went to check on the food, and with no explanation or apology of any kind, the cashier just told the cook to remake an incorrect portion of the total meal. I get that this sounds petty, as the food truly was delicious.. it is disappointing when tips are given and paid up front, to have terrible service without any acknowledgement or...

This is the perfect place to go with a big group, family gathering, or after a team game. Everyone can be seated comfortably, together, and receive their food in timely manner. Speaking of the food, this place looks unassuming, but the food is spectacular! Seriously. This needs to have a higher rating. The Italian food was amazing and authentic (the restaurant is family-owned and they are from Italy). The pizza and lasagna were to die for. I also had the brisket and pulled pork and it was fantastic—homemade sauces, pickles, pickled onions too. My kids had the brisket tacos and they were also killer....

I took my family here for lunch on a Sunday. The only vendor open that day was the Chilean food place which was fantastic. The people were nice too! My wife and I split their big sandwich thing and my kids had chopped hotdogs and fries. I’m excited to go back and try the empanadas and taste the food of the other vendors too!
