So we decided to come here on Mother’s Day because my g/f’s grandmother likes it. Knowing this is the only day of the year they don’t take reservations, we came and knew there would be a wait. As soon as we walked in the door we had problems. We were told we would have a 30 minute wait which wasn’t bad, until we got skipped not once but twice! My girlfriends mother finally got mad after being skipped twice and waiting 45 minutes that she went to the host and said something and all of a sudden we were next to be seated lol... I’m laughing because I called the restaurant while sitting waiting and asked how long the wait was and the lady who answered said an hour. Not even a minute after she hung up with me she told a couple who just walked in that the wait was 30 minutes!! When walking back to our table there were at least 6 tables open, not to mention two more tables that you can see from the waiting area were open the entire time we were waiting. So moving on as soon as our waitress comes over, very loudly she says “can I get you drinks or are you ready to order”. Mind you we legit just sat down two minutes before hand and so we said we needed a second to look. In the ten minutes it took for her to get our drinks we were ready when she dropped them off and said we were ready, not only did she slam the cups down on the table but totally ignored us saying we could order and walked away. We watched her as she got another tables order, got deserts for another table, and the table behind us turned and told us she waited 15 minutes for her check and by the time she got back to us it was another ten minutes later!! Her name I found out when we were leaving was “Terri”. We all ordered our food and when everything came out, she dropped it off and left-didn’t ask for refills or take the dirty plates. So I cut into my steak fast and it was well done meanwhile I said RARE TO MED RARE. I had to get another server to get ours so she could correct the issue, but she didn’t even try. She had an attitude and took my plate away. My girlfriend ordered the chicken parm dinner and the spaghetti definitely wasn’t drained enough considering the amount of water there was on the plate-it made the sauce so watered down and disgusting. Then when we ordered desert Togo, she came back 15 minutes later and said they were out of everything!!! I mean I get it because it was Mother’s Day but they should’ve been better prepared!! Worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant and will...

Sweet Tea - Nicely sweetened, but the tea itself was unbearably strong.
Chicken Quesadilla - Barely warm with unmelted cheese and large chunks of tomatoes and chicken unevenly spread throughout. Probably the most poorly made quesadilla I’ve ever tried to consume. It was, however, accompanied by generous amounts of salsa and sour cream. I realize the Dream is not a Mexican restaurant; don’t list food on the menu that can’t be prepared properly.
Boston Cream Pie w/ Hot Fudge - Cake was dry with way too much filling between layers. Hot fudge is normally put on icecream, hence very oily to prevent hardening. It absolutely didn’t work well with this cake. Chocolate ganache is the proper topping for Boston Cream Pie. If management considers this dessert “award-winning” as the menu states, they are quite ignorant of confectionary arts.
Overall: This is a dying restaurant. Admittedly, without inside knowledge, it’s mostly speculation on my part. While the servers were friendly they were also disorganized. A server took the drink orders and then a different server came to take our drink orders. I guess they worked it out since only the second one came back. Many of the customers are elderly and dine here by habit not tastes. The food was poorly prepared by untrained, underpaid, or micromanaged kitchen staff. Furthermore, the menu is far too long for even trained cooks to manage properly. The decor is thoroughly outdated and tacky. This restaurant is a huge disappointment and a disservice to the community. I have no intentions...
Read moreToday was the last time that the Frontier patriots Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution will hold a dinner meeting at your place of business. I had called about three months ago to make a reservation for the small meeting room at the foot of the stairs. I expressed the fact that I did not want the room right beside the large dining room because one time before the sound from the dining room drowned us out. I was assured that the small room at the bottom of the stairs would be reserved for my group. when we got there today. I was shown into the room right beside the dining room which I specifically asked NOT to for my group to be in. Another group of women had been given the small room at the foot of the stairs instead if my group. As my meeting progressed a large group of cackling, screeching, bellowing women filled up the large dining room for a baby shower. I could not even hear myself speak to my group and I could tell that they were straining to hear me too. The doors did not even have a latch to keep them closed. Two times, the people in the baby shower interrupted my meeting to get tables from our room that were not being used. And of course, they did not have the courtesy to close the doors, so I had to stop from my meeting to close the doors. THAT IS THE LAST TIME THAT THE SAR WILL WASTE OUR MONEY IN YOUR WRETCHED RESTAURANT! ...
