Hollister Coffee CO — Restaurant in Hollister

I'd just recently discovered this amazing coffee shop. What makes HCC different from other coffee shops or even Starbucks? What caught my eye was that HCC serves coffee in actual ceramic coffee mugs. They have a fire place and plenty of seating(even comfy chairs).When you walk in, the staff immediately greets you and asks how your day is going. I don't know any other place that does that. The scenery of HCC is comfortable and homie. I feel as if I'm drinking coffee in my own home. The staff there is absolutely amazing and super friendly. The owner Isaac Caughlan, is one of the friendliest people I've ever met. He comes over right you ask how everything is and how your day is going. If you've had a bad day he's there to listen to you. never really met an owner who took such interest in his customers. (: I've been to Hollister Coffee Co 3 times in the past 3 weeks. I really wanted to like this place....Atmosphere is good but I didn't care for the coffee. I got an Iced Mocha it was watered down with too much milk for the amount of coffee. It looked like your process was off for making it. What bothered me most was the person working there. I was the only one in line and she took my order. The made my iced drink then someone else came in who must have been her friend (did not order anything) and she called another employee on the phone for the guy and then started my 2nd drink. And then took another order and finally finished my second drink...which also was not good. I went there for nitro which they were out of and they also did not...

Great quaint and quality coffee stop. Indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly service with a unique breakfast item selection. The oatmeal with honey, fresh berries and bananas, and hint of PB was great. Their specialty toast was also unique and flavourful. Some pastry items are also available. Lots of flavored syrup add-ins available for your beverages. Coffee was fantastic, and I really enjoyed my lattes. I’ll remember this Hollister Coffee stop next time we're in town (and want to avoid the chain stops downtown that still won't welcome you to sit and enjoy your coffee.)
