Sweet Shack — Restaurant in Hollister

My husband has tried almost every restaurant in the Branson/Hollister area, and only has about 2-3 that meet his standards of food. The Sweet Shack is now in his top two!! Their organic, locally sourced beef burgers are insanely amazing, every ingredient blends together perfectly, their fries are delicious, and their ice cream… oh my goodness. Made with a higher cream percentage than normal ice cream, you can taste the thick, rich difference! My husband also LOVES Andy’s frozen custard probably more than any other food item in this world - and he rated his vanilla milkshake here at the Sweet Shack as BETTER than that. I don’t know if you understand how serious that is! The owner is awesome, the atmosphere is so bright and fresh and relaxing, and our toddler loved throwing the plastic axes at the target during the short wait for our food. Go eat here, you...

There's a number of reasons why this spot gets a 5.0 review on Google, makes 💯 sense. First of all, the location is great, down off the main drag in Branson on a cute little street pulled right out of a Norman Rockwell painting. The ice cream is bar none top tier. We got chocolate, mint chip, cookies n cream, and a vanillia shake. All of it was fantastic. I also got a smash burger and an unexpectedly larg order of fries. I'm not the sharing type, but it works with this large. The guy working there, super polite and really did a great job getting everything just right. If he's not the owner, he acted like it.

The place is priced accordingly. Not a cheep ice cream spot. But that should not be what you are looking for here. This place is absolutely fantastic. Great atmosphere, great good, great service. Will come here every time we hit Branson...

We went and tried the Sweet Shack last night and soooo glad we did! We had the loaded spicy fries, smash burgers, and of course had to finish it off with some home made ice cream! It was all absolutely delicious! The spicy chilli cheese fries were to DIE for! I liked the spicy sauce so much I asked for some more to dip the fries I ordered with my burger in! The burger was perfect!!! It had a hint of sweet I believe from the delicious bun which was my favorite part! Then, the ice cream!!! So creamy!! I had cookie dough and my husband has plain vanilla!
