I ordered for the first time here last week the meat was good so I ordered again this week . The meat was good but the customer service horrible as the man who took my order was very cranky and abrupt slamming down the phone etc . When they brought the food out to my car he just dropped the food in the trunk I didn’t even know he was there no hello no smile . I think they need to work on customer service skills . I would continue to go there but it’s really a very negative feeling when people are this cranky and abrupt . These folk know their regular locals. They can also put many a sandwich place to shame with how well they make a sandwich. They're always pleasant and personable. I make a point of going there at least once a week. They have a great selection of ready-to-slice meats and cheeses; they have delicious prepared meals; they have pasta and potato salads; soups, when they can... They also have seasonal fresh produce.

It's the kind of store you can find basic needs, a good lunch (or breakfast), a snack or a few, and they offer amazing turkeys for Thanksgiving and roasts for the holidays.

People use to walk to the neighborhood grocery store. Got fresh cut wrapped in paper meats & just asked for specific things without ringing a buzzer & waiting. The store delivered quality because customers knew the difference & wouldn't waste money on something that wasn't right. The Superette tries to offer the modern convenience items people expect & the old time counter service too many supermarket shoppers have forgotten about.
