Hungry Howie's Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Holly Hill

Read a few reviews on this place. Don't see what what all the hokum's about. I've ordered takeout here for years and only once had issue with the pizza. (Was undercooked...once... in 5 years.) I've never waited longer than 20 minutes, and I don't call ahead. (They have, on several occasions, brought my pizzas out to my car where I was waiting. Nice.) The pizza is greasy, yes... but when you order extra cheese, bacon and greasy meats with garlic butter crust, do you really expect it to be crisp? Go to Dominoes for crisp. Go here for the really yummy, poofy, flavored, buttery crust. I moved a half hour away from this place three years ago. I go out of my way to get dinner here. I love it. My kids prefer it. Pizza is a finicky dinner. Everyone has their preferences. There are some other pizza houses in the county that I also really like (Steel City's fantastic, but not cheap), but for the price and the service, you can't beat this store. (Note: Decor rating of poor because of the very tiny space in which to order. But it's a takeout place. I'm not looking for chandeliers. Just a little more...

Today on my way home from a 16 hour shift I called and ordered 2 large pizza subs. One had extra cheese and one regular cheese. After waiting almost an hour they arrived. Niether pizzas had even a regular amount of cheese!! I called and complained and was told that the person who made it claims that they weighted the cheese and it was accurate. I order the same sub almosy weekly. I have never received it like this before. After continuing to tell him it was wrong he stated that they would remake the subs and send it her out in exchange. My food arrive at 12:20pm I have to be up to get ready for work at 5pm for another 16 hour shift. I told them I didn't want to wait another houefor them to fix and bring me my food. After confirmation that that was what I said he said ok and got off the phone. I am truly disgusted with the service provided. There was no apology nor an offer to credit my account or anything like that. I spend between $25-35 every week and a half or so there! I will never go here again. I wish I could post pictures to prove what...

we ordered 2-steak subs and cheeser bread and 10-wings and became very ill afterwards. and,it was the food!!!! we had eating nothing that day exact this food. and when we called PAT the manager ,he did not have a care at all!!!! his exact words were to me on the phone it wasn't his food and its a franchise store and i could do nothing about it. all i wanted was my money back,but pat said no! so i have the left over food!!!!!!. and needless to say i will never eat there again......update received a massage from a lady saying she is pats wife and that i better take down this review or she will report me........guess what; i will NEVER take this review down, EVER!!!!!! what happen to me and my wife was real sicking..but the way pat the manger treated us was worst..and you sending me a note threatening and demanding me to take it down only goes to show just what kind of people you are,and i want the world to know just what kind of people they are dealing with....bet you wish you had handle this situation different now...
