Its semi-cheap its ok. You basically get what they serve you. Not consistent.. The order takers don't even know what your getting. The reason for my review is I asked the difference between 2 dishes and one was supposedly spicy (and cost more) so order the spicy dish and told them I like it extra spicey. Well you guessed it. No spice at ALL. womp womp womp

tried again after 8 months. They lost a star. the beef and broccoli worst I've ever had and the rice was gooey. I will find another restaurant Good luck

China House at 1844 Ridgewood Ave in Holly Hill shut down on Sept. 21.

Inspectors found 17 violations, six of which were a high priority. Those violations included a container of improperly mixed medicine, an employee working with items without washing their hands, nonfood-grade bags making contact with the food, and raw animals food stored inappropriately.

A follow-up visit on Sept. 22 found 14 violations, five of which were a high priority. Officials included roach activity in addition to many of the issues from the previous visit. A second visit on Sept. 22 found 12 violations, three of which were a high priority.

I ordered from China house over a year ago I posted a review about the food n the service giving China house 5 stars I was very happy with the service n the food until now.... I will not b ordering from them anymore because they have been sited for multiple violations 25 plus 4 high priority I did enjoy their food n its unfortunate I won't b ordering from them again til they take care of those violations theres no justification i urge people to check on ur favourite places to eat for any kind of violations our health is more important i was very disappointed to learn that china house has so many violations. It's not that difficult to have a clean business if u value ur customers n want to make money 5 Guys resturaunt at several locations have been on the news a few times y? If I could give a review of zero, I would. I called from out of state for a friend in the area to have food delivered. They had NO PROBLEM taking my card over the phone, charging it, but refused, REFUSED to give the food to my friend, as her five year old daughter stood there and cried. They didn't let her call me, just left. When I called, I spoke to a rude woman who said the card had to be present. I said you took the card over the phone, charged it (received the text), you said nothing about it being present. I said I am out of state. She said maybe your friend should have money to pay for their food. Rude!!! When I asked about crediting it back, you know no signature was given, no food left, she said she'd get right on it. I call the bank, it still shows as pending to COLLECT. Take money for food not given and make a five year old cry. Nice place, right? The charges are being disputed for services not rendered. Terrible customer service, attitude...
