I am a relocated local. My family still lives there, I have ALWAYS been at the Pub every night of my time back home...til last time where bartender Juliette purposely over charge me $3 per drink. I watched her serve clearly drunk male. I asked for a drink and she waves her hands in air ,loudly professing YOU are cut off baby. NC law says you have had your limit. Then calls last call. Next morning I head down to speak with Dale. I get no credit card receipt, nothing to do. How about calling her and getting all parties involved in front of you. If she is stealing from customers, she is stealing from business. I will keep going to Dale's Pub. It is an awesome place to hang out. Just keep your eyes on your bartender, 99% of them...
Read moreI'll be honest....I'm not really a barfly. That being stated, Dale's Pub is not a regular bar. There's a Breakfast Club, open to the public. One of the regular patrons brings lunch every day, which is self served by anyone who might need a bite to eat. You don't have to worry about fighting or other annoyances, like other bars, and there's a really cool outdoor area, where folks can practice social distancing. Cheapest beer and well drinks within 30 miles! If Dale would bring back a Foosball table...well, I guess I would bring another review with...
Read moreHidden gem in Holly Ridge. Looks like a old, beat-up dive bar from the outside but surprisingly 'fancy' on the inside. Bar is a horsehoe with lots of space. The alcohol options are limited but cheap. Everything is in a shot despenser like you see in Europe. The pool tables look new, darts but couldnt find dart board, touchtunes, an entire band set up with electrical drums and a guitar. It looks like the owner put a lot of money into the bar.
