I came here with a group of 5 and were promptly seated. The decor of the restaurant was nice and there was even live music. We were given the salsa tray with your typical red and brown salsas (great flavor) and a pretty interesting third salsa — pineapple. It was sweet so it was definitely very different but I found it oddly addictive. The day we came they were doing a special on quesadillas for 20% off, so I got that with a complimentary side. I got the tacos al carbon and went with steak instead of chicken, and the table shared a pitcher of the house margarita. I got two entrees because I was honestly thinking the portions would be a lot smaller, but as soon as the food arrived, I knew I had to ask for a box. The quesadilla was nice, good flavor. Fries were great. The steak tacos were very nice, great portion on the steak, but I would’ve liked just a tad more seasoning. House margarita was decent, not bad for the price (~$20), would’ve liked a little more tequila but who wouldn’t. Overall, my entire meal with the pitcher split 5 ways was around $25. Good prices, portions, service, and atmosphere. I was initially ‘Sus’ 😏about the place but was definitely surprised. Give it a try!

Had an amazing experience with my family of 5 there last Saturday and it was a fresh and very unique atmosphere. The chips and salsa that you are greeted with are different yet satisfying...3 delicious salsas to choose from.. a California salsa which is smokey and tastey, mild red salsa, and finally my favorite, Pineapple Habanero salsa! Wife ordered a Texas margarita and she said it was just the right amount of delicious balance! Got our kids chicken tenders and fries and their favorite mix of queso dip with a side of sliced plantains...a secret everyone should combine when you go there! I ordered a Mia's bowl and it was perfection while my wife ordered mango blackbean salad with steak.... both meals cooked to perfection! Finally, we ended our Mexican adventure with a soft melt in your mouth flan to cap off our experience. Highly recommended and will continue going to this family-friendly spot! Woodstock's best Mex restaurant!

Yum! Great service and great food starting with the trio of salsas they promptly delivered to my table when I sat down. She kindly described the 3: pineapple (spicy!), regular salsa and roasted. All were tasty and I especially liked the pineapple sweet heat. The chips were thick enough to hold the salsa and not greasy. Ordered a chicken quesadilla with corn, black beans inside and it was full of filling, cheesy and very good. You get a choice of side and the server recommended the corn salad. Reminds me of street corn! I had to come back and talk about the nachos! Get the nachos! They are crispy chips layered with all the yumminess of whatever added ingredients you like. Not the typical pile of chips with only toppings on top, but all throughout. We get them with cheese, ground beef, refried beans and grilled chicken. They even add a small cup of cheese for you to drizzle over the top. Yummmm.

I'm a loyal customer, but today was disappointing. I'm sad because I really like this place. The service I got when returning all the way back to Sustos was surprising. I went back because I didn't get salsa, guac, or salad dressing that I requested, AND my mother said her tomatoes were old. I didn't taste mine because I get this dish all the time and figured it'd be fine.

So I go back to get my sauces and get a refund on my mom's food, as she didn't want a replacement. I smile and say hello when the owner was brought over and he gave me no greeting and just started looking in the bag. I explain it to him very nicely, and he literally slams my mom's food in the trash behind him and says, "just so you know, everything we make here is made fresh daily so it CANT be old!" He pushes some buttons on the machine and tells me he gave me a credit. He never gave me a receipt or told me how much I was credited.

The host continued to help me after he walked away. Before I left, I went to him and asked with a smile, "hey I know you say everything is fresh but people make mistakes, so maybe just double check the tomatoes". He says something to the effect of he doesn't need to and they're fine.

Plot twist: I get home and something is definitely old I'm my dish! I surmise it's the tomatoes, too! Gross and chemically/rotten tasting and smelling. I didn't even finish chewing and spit it out!

If he had taken a moment to come off his high horse that his restaurant is sooooo perfect and just inspected my mom's plate before hurling into the trash and basically calling me a liar, then maybe he wouldn't have lost a loyal customer who also used to sing Sustos praises to...

Took the kids here for dinner and it was a pretty decent place, not great, but also nothing glaringly wrong either.

We started w guacamole and while I thought it was good, there were a ton of red onions. The kids called it spicy and my wife couldn't eat it. Their chips were great! They were very thin, crispy and the server made sure they never emptied. Their salsa options were great too.

The place was busy! And while that can often affect service I thought everyone here did great; from the host to the waitress to the chefs. All solid on the service front.

The downside to Sustos is that their flavor is incredibly bland. Kid 1 got a cheeseburger... simple right? It was a bun a patty and cheese. Kid 1 did not seem concerned by this. Kid 2 got chicken tacos(soft). it arrived and was chicken, a little cheese and soft flour shells. There was no flavor to be distinguished here. Kid 2 ate French fries(the fries were great btw). I got the 2xburrito plate and while there were lots of items in/on the burrito (beans, rice, lettuce, ground beef ,etc) the flavor was nothing more than salt/pepper/smoked paprika(maybe). Again, super basic quality of flavors but also cooked and presented wonderfully. Wife ordered their carnitas plate. This was essentially carnitas fajitas. The first words out of my wife's mouth when I asked how it was were "this is cooked wonderfully but it has no flavor"

Overall it was a fine experience. The food was cooked and presented well but the flavor left us all wanting more; but probably...

I placed a scheduled order for pickup two days in advance of the pickup. I placed the order online and after submitting, I realized I had messed up and ordered it for pickup asap. I immediately called them to ask if I should cancel and reorder or if the existing can be rescheduled. I was put on hold for her to check with manager. She returned and stated it could be rescheduled. When I provided the date and time she again went on hold to tell the manager. She then came back to the phone and said all was good. It was a decently large order to feed 30 for a party. When I arrived at the date and time, they tried to look up the order and was not able to find it. Another person appears and after giving her the details she said she was aware of the order and would go grab it. She did not provide any other details. I then waited for 30 minutes and when the host walked up to apologize I asked if the order had even been started before I arrived. He confirmed that it had not. If I had known that at the beginning I could have at least notified my guest of the delay. The food was good, but I would not recommend them as a food option if you’re planning to use for parties or events. I rated a 2 instead of a 1 because I should have know to just cancel the order and resubmitted to take the human element out of...
