My husband and I got married this past Saturday and hired 7 tequilas as our caterers. We love this restaurant and I can honestly say that they showed up BIG time and brought their very best to our special day. They arrived on time, set everything up smoothly, and tended to our guests quickly with a professional and positive attitude. We had 3 appetizers - ceviche, street corn, and guacamole. I was able to taste them all and everything was DELICOUS. We hosted 140 people and I would say that more than half of our guests pulled me aside to say how much they loved the food. As a Hispanic family we can be particular about the taste and quality at local Mexican restaurants. We are always looking for the type of food we grew up eating in our mothers kitchens. 7 Tequilas served us AUTHENTIC food. The tacos had a generous amount of very well cooked meat. They did not skimp back on the portions, which we tend to run into at other restaurants, but not at 7 tequilas. The rice and beans were fresh and flavorful and the salsa was delectable. They also provided tasty chicken fingers for the children. Elena was tremendously helpful and informative when we showed interest in 7 tequilas. She was quick to communicate, easy to work with, and extremely supportive during this entire process. As a bride with a fair amount of stress, Elena kept me out of minor details. She dealt directly with our wedding planner and event coordinator. I cannot express how much we appreciate her and her entire staff's efforts. My husband and I highly recommend this restaurant. Again, a huge and special shout out to ELENA, the servers and cleaning crew. We have absolutely no complains and we'll continue to rave about this restaurant to our family...
Read moreI thought I'd give this local place a chance and see how the food was - My daughter and I ordered takeout for 2. It was a little slow to come out after ordering by phone, so we had to wait for a while. No biggie though, they brought it out to the car. We drove home and discovered that my daughter's food was completely missing and my dinner order was incorrect.
A 10 minute drive back to the restaurant to figure out the issue and there was another gentleman in the waiting area who also had his to-go order incorrect. After a brief discussion, we discovered that he had received our order and we had received his. The hostess apologized and said that they would remake both of our orders. There was no offer of any form of compensation, but hey...mistakes happen, so again...no biggie.
We were surprised when our "remade" orders came back out within 2 minutes, but I guess the other guy and I thought that they must have a lot of their stuff pre-made in the kitchen. When my daughter and I got back home, we discovered that our order was correct, but they were BOTH cold. In fact, mine had been cut into as if someone had looked at it returned it.
Basically, I'm pretty sure all they did at the restaurant was swap the bags and sent both me and the other gentleman on our way. Keep in mind this was during covid19 quarantine time and you're going to give us food that has left you restaurant with someone else?! Not cool folks. I imagine the other guy was similarly shocked as I had only discovered my order was wrong after taking a bite...I'm sure he was even more upset about this than I am. We won't...
Read moreUnfortunately I remembered why I haven't been to this location even though it's closest to my house. We were finally sat outside, no one came to help us for a while and it wasn't busy, and not asked what we wanted to drink. We sat there a while until Ariel returned. The other tables were being helped a lot faster. I ordered a margarita and my our food at the same time. Fish tacos on CORN TORTILLAS. Took a long time for my drink to come out. The table next to us, who was sat and ordered after us, got everything before us. The fish tacos came and I took a bite and realized they were FLOUR tortillas. I have celiac disease and this was a BAD mistake by Ariel. I finally had to hunt him down because he hadn't returned, and told him my, now cold, fish tacos were made with flour tortillas. Expecting a new correct order would be made, I sat down and tied to enjoy my drink. Several minutes later I was brought corn tortillas. That's it. I was supposed to remove the cold contaminated ingredients to the corn tortillas. I was so hungry by this point I just did it. I was NEVER asked if I wanted another drink and was given the check just when I started eating. Tacky, horrible service and a very unpleasant dining experience. I will never be back. I gave 2 stars instead if 1 because the quality of the...
