DO NOT GO HERE FOR FOOD!!
I just stopped in with my family and we were very disappointed. My wife looked on their online menu and we saw things like a shrimp basket and pizza. However when we got to the restaurant, the only people that were there were at the bar. They were very loud and the same thing goes for the music. It took 5 minutes just to get menus and once we read through them, many items on their online menu were not featured on the menu. The menu only included burgers, sandwiches, appetizers, and 1 item of tacos, and another for nachos. And of course no pizza. Also if it matters, there were only two options for kids menu. We asked if they did have the pizza their online menu promised to which we were told it was frozen pizza. Nice one. Also, I ordered coke and my wife ordered water. They came out in small plastic cups from the bar and pops only had one refill. On our way out, we saw a sign on the road for their restaurant, once again promising pizza. If you’re looking for drinks, I’m sure this place is fine, but if you want food, I would go...
Read moreI started going to Backroads 3 weeks ago when I found out they have the "World Tavern Poker". It's a league of TOTALLY FREE no-limit Texas Hold-em. We play on Tuesdays at 7:00 & 9:00. Usually we get 10 to 18 players, all just rank amateurs like you, and have lots of fun. There are different ways to win money or a seat at one of the televised $10,000 WSOP tournaments. The food is some of the best around at a very good price. I loved everything I've had so far. Good people help make Backroads even better. A bunch of friendly people makes the atmosphere very pleasant. Gary is working on the inside to perk the place up. (not that it's bad now). Vollyball and Trivia night give you more reasons to stop by. Come on in and watch us play, or join up and play yourself. We'll help you get signed up. Be there early (6:30 or so) so we have time. We'll fill you in on the rest of the program. AND IT'S ALL FREE !!!! See ya next Tuesday,...
Read moreFelt like I walked into the twilight zone. There was no music playing, you could hear a fly fart on the wall. The only thing I was able to hear was the constant humming of an unmaintained beer cooler. The bartender acted extremely awkward toward us when we walked in to the point where I almost considered leaving, as time went on that got slightly better. The cook was friendly but despite seeing him pour seasoning on the food, it tasted unseasoned, but was cooked well. Atmosphere was horrible, considering there were no events going on, there was no music, it wasn't very clean, and I felt like we were being watched for some reason like we didn't belong. There are better places within a few miles that will have me passing on...
