Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Holly Township

I called this location friday evening to place a cake order for sunday for my son's birthday party. 1st the kid that answered told me I would have to come in if I didn't know the # of the image I wanted on my cake. I called my local Lake Orion location and they were more then happy to go out front look up the image & give me the # so I could order my cake. When I called the Holly location back I asked to speak to the store manager. Who was very apologetic about the whole situation & took my order even asking what color frosting & what I would like written on it. When we showed up to pick it up this afternoon they didn't have an order from first it but said they had cakes in the back. After telling them what I had ordered they went back in the freezer for a 3rd time to look for it. Upon coming back out to the counter I was told they never made it & when did I need it. REALLY!! I NEEDED IT RIGHT NOW! When I said I would pick it up friday when u took my order! While standing there waiting for them to find my cake that wasn't even there! I noticed how unorganized the staff at this location was. All seemed to walk around as if they hadn't a qlue as to what they were supposed to be doing. I will NEVER!! Give any of my business to this location & I suggest no one else does either. Thanks Holly Dairy queen for ruining a 2 year...

This was by far the worst service and I'm nearly sure the most unsanitary! We were out at the lake nearby having a blast swimming and decided to swing thru the drive thru, the order taking process wasn't too bad, however the moment we made it to the window, no receipt was given, and they handed out our blizzard first which was fine but then we had to hold it out the window cause it was overfilled and melting quickly, then they told us it was the wrong one after my wife ate from it and had her hands in it, they they set it on the counter and handed us the rest of our food, we had to ask for the drink, ontop of that we had to ask for the sundae that came with the meal I had gotten, they they told us we were good and fought with us over not having gotten the correct blizzard... To which we ended up yelling at them that we needed the blizzard in which we actually paid for! Plus after all of the stupid miscommunications between the 4 people at the window, we had most of everything and drove out rather heated, without napkins, a straw, and a spoon. Honestly. I would never go back, because this all happened, and we were pretty much the only ones who had ordered food at...

Always a long wait, which if its busy than i can totally understand but on numerous occasions i have had cold or moist food. Todays last straw was ordering a turkey BLT and waiting far to long for it and when i get home there is a wad of crunched up napkins with a sauce thats not on the sandwich and the box half open. I have worked retail and kitchen. Their was no apology for the wait, no sense of care or urgency to get the food to the customer and shoving napkins in a bag with dirty gloves on or napkins that sat on a dirty counter then not closing the box the sandwhich sits in just isnt worth a good review. Oh and while the sandwhich was being returned its nice to see the place busy and line wrapped outside but someones in the back playing basketball with the chicken tenders into the fryer baskets.. ? Just very dissapointed and can only hope DQ strives...
