Every once in awhile we get breakfast from this McDonald's, considering it's closest to our home. Be careful & make sure you check your orders before pulling off from drive thru window, you can bet your bottom dollar SOMETHING is going to be incorrect. Whether it's the size of my coffee (always trying to give me a Small when I always order a Medium) or a condiment I asked NOT to be on my sandwich. If you don't know what size your cup is, you can usually find the sizing on the side of the cup. They're going at making money and getting over in people. I ALWAYS check my stuff and they STILL end up getting away with getting my order wrong, somehow, some way, this McDonald's seems to never get it right the first time around. Handed me a oatmeal this morning that was so watery, all the oatmeal was just floating around in there. I asked the lady at the drive thru if this looked normal to her, to which she replied "I'm not sure" she proceeded to show & ask another employee if this was how it's suppose to be made & even the second employee replied "I don't think so" So here we are, two employees in and they "didn't know" if the oatmeal was prepped properly!! If the employees don't know, WHO DOES, cause it's dang sure not the manager. This goes out to not only the customers, but employees as well, CHECK THE FOOD IN EVERY ORDER. People are paying for this food!!!! People are eating & feeding their kids this food!!! Please make it correctly. It's sad customers deal with so many different kinds of issues when visiting this location. Read moreI've been going to this location for 3 years now. I go to other location if I can. Almost every time, EVERY TIME, I go to this location something in my order is messed up or they forget something. At first I thought it was the time of day and the workers that worked at that time, nope. Went other times of the day, different workers, still had the same problem. So I stopped going to this location for months, started going again and I didn't have any issues. GREAT! Within the past 3 months 5 times my order has been wrong/messed up/missing something. I have children, there have been Happy Meal mishaps too many times. It's not just drive tru, inside long wait times during certain times of day and forgot about menu items on bill. If you can, go to another McDonald's or be aware of this one.
Edit 6-6-2019 original post 2 years ago. I had to stop, in a rush to get something for my kid. I asked for my sauce since i had to wait for chicken nuggets. The girl said she'll make sure she'll put sauce, I said that's ok you guys always forget can I just get it now. I got the sauce. Then when my chicken nuggets came out, they dumped all the fries in the bag and threw whatever sauce they could grab in the bag. Read moreI don’t usually write reviews, but the Holly, MI McDonald’s deserves a warning: this place fails at the three things a fast-food restaurant is supposed to do — be fast, be decent, and treat customers like they matter. Every visit follows the same disappointing script: cold, sloppy food, indifferent or rude staff, and a “fast” food wait that somehow becomes 10–15 minutes in the drive-thru or parking lot. That’s not an anomaly — it’s the experience every time.
The food arrives looking like it’s been reheated and forgotten (not fresh, not hot, just sad). Customer service is consistently awful — staff act like you’re doing them a favor by ordering, orders are wrong, and there’s zero urgency to fix mistakes. If you’re in a rush or expecting basic competence, go somewhere else. This location has turned “convenience” into a joke.
If management cares at all about their reputation, they’ll fix staffing, retrain employees, and actually own the word “fast” in fast food. Until then, I’ll be driving past this place — and I suggest you...
