Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Hollywood

I wish I could give this review a 0. I put in an order at 8:30 am to be delivered by 2:15 PM. I tracked the order with the Doninoes tracker and at 1:55 PM, it shows that the pizza is being inspected right before it goes out to deliver. However, I never got anything delivered. I called at 2:33 PM and asked about my order. I guy answered and put me on an indefinite hold. I called again and this time a woman answered. When I asked for an ETA, she said they have a lot of orders and are backed up so I’m gonna have to wait for it to be delivered. When I started to explain that I ordered the food to my job before hours for a work party, she said “oh he just told you it was out for delivery”. I said, that doesn’t make sense because he had me on hold for the whole time which is why I called back. The pizza STILL didn’t arrive passed 3:04 (30 mins after they told me it was on the way and dominoes is only 5 mins driving from my job) so I called to cancel.When I explained the situation, he was like “but the pizza is out for delivery” when that literally doesn’t matter because the party was over and it was now time for everyone to go home. He said he would get a manager to cancel the order. When I got home, I checked if there was a cancellation email, there was not one, so I called to confirm the cancellation. I spoke with the manager and they got on the phone with what seems like they were annoyed before even saying anything. When I told her why I was calling, she said the order was cancelled but I didn’t get a cancellation and refund of money until promptly after I got off the phone. The woman lied and said they cancelled the order, when in fact, they didn’t cancel until AFTER my phone call. I’m SUPER disappointed and dissatisfied, especially because I love dominoes. When you order a pizza from a chain restaurant like Domino's you expect the same quality every time. The pizza and cheesy bread were fine and consistent with what I expect across the country. I would actually give them 5 stars for the food quality because it was better than a lot of other Domino's that I've had in other states. But the biggest reason this particular Domino's is only getting a 3-star review is because of the staff inside the restaurant. We ordered on the Domino's app and showed up as soon as the pizza said it was ready to be picked up. When we went into the restaurant we stood at the counter for a while before any of the guys in the back acknowledged us. One of them specifically told us to give him a minute and he would be able to help us then disappeared never to been seen again. Another employee cutting pizza fresh from the oven never even made eye contact with us as he would turn his head every time we looked over at him. He was being rude to the other employee who actually came to help us. Finally one of the busiest looking employees came up to the counter to pull our pizza from the warmer plate and check us out at the register. This particular employee was responsible for assembling the pizza and putting it into the over. We could tell he was upset with the other employees and clearly the only one who cared to help us. Interior looks great but sadly the staffs attitude is atrocious compared to the aesthetic. Domino's holds to its name with deliverys as they always except once, came within an hour and some change from ordering (I live 15 min from the store) and the delivery employees I get were always nice regardless of a tip which I always gave something. But after awhile I startwd just driving there to pick it up my self and save $ from the delivery fee and with the app it's easy sure but I hate that three times in a row now I order on the app, wait 5-10 min past my "your order is ready to be picked up", walk in to be greeted by eyes that go "ugh more work" with no hello or how can I help. (They ALMOST all have airpods in which Idk why people think that's okay at work, no different from corded headphones/earbuds idc.) And after standing for another good 5-15 min someone will ask "can I help you?" I say pickup and they look confused then I slowly back up point at the nice big TV they have on the left wall that says my name in big letters and next to it READY TO PICKUP, And they go "ohh okay" and just walk away and not say anything to me. Yeah and after another 5-10 min I get my pizza that I prepaid for.
