Just to start, I waited hours before writing this review to ensure that it was not my feelings intervening with what actually occurred.

Actively looking for a space to kick off my business, I came across this establishment to be denied immediately on the spot. Did not have a chance to speak of my business plan. Did not get a chance to show my income. I felt so offended!! I am actually still in a bit of shock, honestly! I felt almost like I was looked at, judged, and denied in the blink of an eye.

I wasn’t even in the establishment for two minutes. I guess I miss understood that Valentina does not welcome new small businesses. Not even an honest “I wouldn’t recommend this because…” followed with some support. It was a straight “I can not rent you the suite but you can still have the tour.” Valentina seemed very nice via text, but in person I have to say she was a bit arrogant and very condescending!

RESPOND TO CINDI: Perhaps Cindi, someone should take the time to do some training. Not only should time be taken to make that very clear on the advertisements but also when calling/texting multiple times; wasting someones times to drive there for a two second talk (not even the courtesy of talking behind closed doors). I wouldn't have taken offense because I completely understand the reasonings, simply its the professionalism and demeanor that got me. Good luck!

As a master cosmetologist the most rewarding thing is being able to work all hair types and specialize in all hair genres, color braiding and very soon eyebrows and lashes. I believe this is why I chose Salons by Jc. I’ve visited other Salon suite buildings but Salons by Jc was different. The walls are covered in fashion and beauty arts. The aroma of freshly cleaned floors hits me everyday and that inviting smile on the building managers face as I walk in goes perfect with my morning coffee or tea. Who would have known that the building manager Val would become such a delight in my professional life. Besides rumor has it she never forgets a birthday! Lol… But seriously I found a home to be my artistic free self and exercise my talents in more ways I could imagine without being micromanaged. My first experience was speaking with the owners of this impressive franchise Cyndi and Peter Scher two very professional, personable and ambitious winners who are set out make hard working professionals like myself into entrepreneurs ! How does it get any better than that? As far as the establishment and coming from my background as a hairstylist and knowing the ins and outs of what works and doesn't in this unique business these are the top I will say. parking , it has ideal parking! location location location ! The shopping plaza is enormous with plenty of traffic to drum up business! Unlike many suites establishments you're greeted by a receptionist that can handle all the walk-in traffic. What a beautiful brand new decor and it's spacious !! The brilliant thing about being able to rent space in this dynamic is that the various professionals such as Hair Stylists , massage therapists, product retailers to Acupuncturists can rent here and what this offers is an AMAZING opportunity to network right in the same building!!!
