Quickie’s Burgers, Wings & Seafood — Restaurant in Hollywood

I called in asking a African American young lady what her name was so that I knew who I was speaking with and she would not give her name just now on their shift around 6pm ,she rudely just said Quickies as if I didn't know where I called, she refused to give her name so I asked to speak with her Shift Manager,when the Hispanic Male got on the phone with an attitude, I asked for his name,he mumbled, I said ,my name is Shaundra,I just did an order,who am I speaking with??? He said rudely Moe, my name is Moe,Do you want my social security number too!!??? I said,I didn't ask for that, I will let your superiors deal with you,no need for this conversation. I will be reporting them to all who will need to be notified because they are operating in a way that is going to MAKE YOU SICK!!!!! I requested for my bag to be taped/staple/or tied up in order to prevent tampering, unless they can not read ,I do not understand why those simple directions were not followed. They actually stapled the receipt ticket to the bag twice! But FAILED TO STAPLE THE BAG CLOSED,WHICH LEADS ME TO BELIEVE IT WAS INTENTIONAL. THE WORKER AND MANAGER NEED TO BE ON A FINAL WARNING, I BET IF THEY WANT THEIR JOBS THEY WILL BECOME PROFESSIONAL, RESPECTFUL AND CORDIAL REALLY QUICK!!! @ QUICKIES. TO MAKE MATTERS WORST THE DELIVERY DRIVER FOR UBER BROUGHT THE FOOD WITH NO MASK OR GLOVES!!!! HAD THE PEOPLE AT YHE RESTAURANT AT LEAST STAPLE THE BAG SEAL, THE WHOLE ISSUE COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED!!!! I WILL BE GETTING A FULL REFUND.HOPE FULLY NO ONE ELSE HAS TO GO THROUGH THIS. I WILL BE PRAYING CORPORATE MOVES TO CORRECT THIS MESS WITH THEIR CURRENT STAFF IMMEDIATELY BEFORE CDC,OSHA,OTHERS HEALTH AGENCIES,NEWS STATIONS AND LIABILITY CLAIMS HIT THEM AND END UP SHUTTING THIS LOCATION DOWN. Chose to stop in after hearing from a friend that the food was great. Its a Sunday afternoon and were all hungry. Having seen the difference in reviews between the two locations and considering the distance between one and the other, decided to stop at the one closer to where we were.

On first impression the picnic tables and dim but pleasant lighting create a real laid-back and comfortable environment. The locale isn't huge but the owners made good use of the space and seating is comfortable. Really like the hightop tables and matching high chair for the baby.

Our waitress met the kids at to he table and immediately engaged them in a friendly manner, taking care to capture their drink order. She was friendly and attentive. We started with cheese fries, which honestly put five guys to shame! The kids had burgers and dogs, all of which were what you'd expect, good.

We had wings, naked with three sauces in the side, honey, garlic and medium. The medium is great and when mixed with honey even better. The garlic is strong as a side sauce, but might be great if tossed on the wings. The honey was plain honey. I tried mixing bit with garlic and that was pretty good, but the best by far was honey and medium combined.

The beer was cold, food was exceptional for a local sports bar, and service could not have been better. Definitely a five star joint and somewhere you will find us on a...

Ah. Maze. Ing!!!! Food. The appearance of the building, inside and out, is underwhelming - maybe a little unkempt. The food and friendly service ABSOLUTELY make up for it.

The patties are freshly made when you order. The flavor is off of the charts! We tried a spicy burger that had peppers integrated into the patty and it was phenomenal. The sides are excellent! We tried the coleslaw, French fries, and corn fritters - each were delicious.

The portions are generous and the price is modest. We live in Orlando and plan to drive back just for burgers. It is good enough for a 3-hour drive, 6-hour round trip!!!

Seating inside is limited, the interior is small. Freshly made burgers, at time of order, do not arrive at the pace of other fast food chains. They are quick for the product that they provide, but not fast like the chains. They ARE worth the wait.
