Dear Discovery Clothing Customer Service Team,
I am writing to formally complain about the treatment my friend and I received from a manager named Tiffany at your store located at 415 S State Rd 7, Hollywood, FL 33023 on [today’s date] around 1:00 PM.
This store has no fitting rooms, so customers are expected to try items on over their own clothes or in the aisles. My friend and I were doing exactly that. Some of the racks were overcrowded and the hangers difficult to use, so when an item fell, we carefully folded it and placed it neatly on a nearby shelf instead of rehanging it.
The manager, Tiffany, approached us and first said we could not walk around the store wearing an item we were trying on — we agreed and complied. Then she accused us of “throwing clothes around the store,” which was untrue. She went further and told us that “this is her store” and that she was banning us from trying on clothes there. This was shocking and very disrespectful, especially as we had traveled 40 minutes to shop at your store and ended up purchasing items despite this treatment.
We noticed other customers were trying on clothes in the same way without being reprimanded. We felt unfairly singled out, and the experience ruined what should have been an enjoyable shopping trip.
I kindly ask you to investigate this incident and take appropriate action. Customers should be treated with respect, and managers should not speak to shoppers in such a rude or discriminatory manner.

Read moreThe customer service at this location is quite disappointing. I’ve walked into this store several times in the past month and not once have I been greeted upon entry. I mean it only requires basic human skills to make people feel welcome when they enter your store. I happened to get the same cashier every time, her name is Samuel. She is one of the most unpleasant people I’ve encountered in retail. She was particularly cold in our interaction and throughout the entire transaction I felt like both my presence and business was unwanted. Geez…a “did you find everything okay today?” could go a long way. The way she snatched things around and and slammed things onto the counter was so off putting. I was in disbelief that she was that nasty; I’ve had less than friendly, but it’s rare I get what I encountered with her. She practically shoved me my bags and didn’t bother to say “have a nice day” once it was over. So rude and discourteous. I heard someone call her Conny. Well conny, you need to work on your customer service skills before you continue on as a manager. As a manager myself I can see that you're disgustingly rude. Mocking customers that don't speak English? Who hired you? She literally mocked a stuttering noise a customer made because she asked for a refund and didn't have a receipt. The woman's daughter even threatened to come across the counter and slap conny for mocking her mother. I don't blame her! you're disgusting and need to be fired. I can imagine how you treat your employees after witnessing what you did to that customer. Shame on you. Overall nice store with nice employees, but that conny woman needs to be taken...
