I spent part of my day at miramarbakery and let me tell you it was AMAZING! 🌟 For breakfast, we tried the egg, bacon, and cheese croissant 🥐, scrambled eggs with ham 🍳, hash browns 🥔, and warm bread with butter 🧈. The bread reminded me of my childhood when my mom would make it for my brother and me, especially on cold days like today it was such a comforting throwback! 🥰 The café con leche ☕ was rich, creamy, and the perfect way to kick off the morning, while the orange juice 🍊 tasted like it was freshly squeezed straight from the fruit so refreshing and absolutely perfect.
For lunch, I went with my all-time favorite, lechón asado 🐷, and wow Miramar Bakery serves the BEST I’ve ever had! 😍 The flavor was out of this world, juicy, tender, and seasoned to perfection. Of course, I couldn’t leave without grabbing some pastries to go 🥐🍩 everything was fresh, delicious, and full of authentic flavor.
What really sets this place apart is the incredible staff; they’re so welcoming and make you feel right at home 🏡. I love the cozy Latin vibe it’s like stepping into a warm hug from your culture. 💃✨
If you’re looking for fresh, flavorful food and an amazing experience, you have to check out Miramar Bakery! 💖 Highly recommend this gem you’ll love it as much...
Read moreI actually like the food and pastries here. However, I suggested this bakery to my place of employment and they agreed to put together a breakfast for our facility. When I call to place an order, they wont take it unless it is in person. I work 30 minutes away and work during their hours of business. I even offered to pay over the phone. This is so ridiculous. Get with the times. How is it possible that in our age of technology, I cannot place an order online or over the phone (completely paid for, might I add). How disappointing.
Additionally, make it make sense. I just went to the website that lets me order and pay. However, not for the following day. It also asks for a 24 hr. notice but would be ready within the hour. So, why can't I make a purchase over the phone? What an inconvenience and lack of logic.
I raised the stars from 2 to 4 because I decided to call one more time. I was greeted by a different person, Erica. What a completely different experience. She informed me how to make an order online and touch base with her to ensure I can pick up the following day by attaching a note to my order. This is how it should have been handled in the first place. It was quick, efficient, and pleasant. What a turn around!...
Read moreWe had pastelitos, croquetas, cuban toast, eggs and ham, ham & cheese crossaint sandwich, cafe con leche and hot chocolate. It was ok, croquetas had good flavor but were burnt. We prefer Oasys Bakery on 47th and 199th.
Response to Owner: thank you for acknowledging my review.
PROS: The ladies in the front were pleasant, efficient and easy to communicate with as I am not fluent in Spanish. Also, all the food we had was hot and fresh.
CONS: The pastries were overly flaky and crumbly. The croquetas were the most disappointing to me, they were a really dark brown color and very crispy. Not sure if that's how your bakery makes them as this was my first visit, but I prefer a light crisp and a tender filling. Your filling was very good, but the crust was too dark and crispy.
Also, I would have preferred larger ham pieces in the scrambled eggs...they were too tiny and too much. I follow you on social media and always wanted to give you a try since you have been in the community for years, your food reels and posts looks good and you're close by so I tried you on my birthday. I will stop by again to give you another try and hope to have a better...
