Anthony's Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Home Gardens

I usually am not in the mood for pizza, so I don’t really want to try pizza restaurants but my boyfriend insisted on coming here. I was hungry and agreed and was glad I came here. I usually just stick to the same pizza places, but I think I’m gonna start coming here now. I like that there’s a lot of booths to choose from. I like that there’s also arcade games, coin machines, and prize machines.

I think I should just start off by saying that the food they would give you was fresh like they just got it out of the oven. I think that was my favorite part because you could really taste the freshness. it was still very hot. we ordered a pepperoni pizza and I really liked it. I’m kind of picky about tomato sauce because sometimes they are too bitter and the flavor is kind of bland, but this one was very good. It had a good garlic flavor I really like the sauce I would take a jar of it home if I could. we also got sausage on a pepperoni pizza. The sausage was good too. The complementary breadsticks were really good. To me, they tasted like parmesan more than garlic, but I don’t mind it. we ordered the wings and I really like the buffalo sauce on it and the tenderness of the chicken although there was one wing in particular that which was mainly batter and was very weirdly shaped so we didn’t eat it.

The employees take a while before they clean up a table. I don’t really mind, but there were tables where people had sat at and it took about 10 minutes for them to get cleaned and nobody wants to see peoples trash before they eat or as they eat. Also, the tables were not really wiped down that well or swept under. I was going to sit at a booth, but I saw that there was just some dirty napkins under the table so I sat somewhere else. The tables just look like the crumbs were wiped off and not really disinfected. Since I’m not much of a neat freak, it doesn’t really like disgust me or anything. I just think they should focus on making sure it’s presentable to everybody.

First of all, I am a doordash deliveryman, and this is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. I arrived at the restaurant early, and my order was not ready, but the restaurant confirmed the delivery in advance. I asked the waiter why the order was not completed. The system prompted that I could pick up the food, and the waiter's answer was that the chef was too busy and pressed the wrong button. I am tired of their tricks. This is the second time. Finally, I picked up my delivery order after 25 minutes. After the order was completed, I also received a warning from the platform for illegal operations. I don’t know why they always trust the merchants, and the merchants will give the deliverymen a timer after the food is delivered. But the consequence of illegal operations is that the account is banned. I need this job to support my family. If the account is banned, it will affect me a lot. In addition, I have not eaten the food in their restaurant and will never eat it. I don’t trust the food provided by merchants who can play tricks in such things. We moved to the area in March of 2015 from Georgia. My first time ever eating pizza at Anthony's was by attempting to place an order over the phone for delivery. The girl on the phone gave me a very difficult time with location questions to know whether or not she could deliver to my area. Apparently, living in Corona, giving her my address along with zip code, telling her the main street my neighborhood is located on, and the closest stores is not good enough information. I was somehow suppose to know every street in a 10 mile radius and go ahead and GPS the route for her. We got disconnected and when I called back I was put on hold for 10 minutes until I finally hung up. Then my husband called and ordered for me because he is more experienced in the area. The total came to just under $15. The cashier told him there is a minimum of $15 for a to go order, so he added another coke. The total was then $15.75. She said "well there is a $2 delivery charge so really you have to be above $17 if you want us to deliver." Safe to say we won't be ordering from this...
