Only the drive thru was opened the sign said, due to employee shortage. So after waiting a LONG wait although only 1 truck at the window in front of us seemed like they must of been real short on help. After 7 minutes waiting I was finally at the window and was able to pay. The young lady that was taking the orders and taking the money was not very nice. I asked for two forks for my son & I to eat the rice side order along with the coleslaw. They were out of cajun fries and out of mac & cheese. The two sides we ordered were the alternatives. But she seemed annoyed. I also asked for the blackened ranch since we ordered the spicy chicken sandwich combos. So for just about $20 it took a total of sixteen minutes to get our food. I thought maybe the worker was just having a bad day and I could understand that. What was very surprising is her dirty uniform she was wearing was extremely noticable. Her polo shirt was filthy with grease stains spots covered the whole front of shirt. She wasn't wearing gloves and her hands were dirty also because the bags she handed out the window had black stain Mark's that looked like fingers. The Employees at the drive thru windows is usually the only person that customers see and deal with. With that being said, a employee in that position is Representing the business and always should look Presentable and Should be cordial to customers. After all if it wasn't for paying customers their wouldn't be the job. There are many food places around to eat out at and if a customer chooses your food establishment they should be satisfied...
Read moreSorry to say but this was the WORST experience I've EVER had with a Popeyes! 1st off part of my order was missing after spending nearly $50 for 3 people one being a child (who's food was missing). Secondly the entire order was cold. I called the store several times and was hung up on, 9 times to be exact, before asking my daughter who is 37 weeks pregnant to return to the store. I finally got through to the restaurant , only to not be greeted, I guess they got tired of the phone ringing and must've picked it up and placed it down. I heard laughter, orders being placed, conversations, etc. When my daughter arrived, I was still on their line, I asked her to inform the manager right away so that he/she could address the situation. She was told that the manager, Vicky, was on a personal call and was pointed in her direction. Vicky never came to assist with the order mix up army complaint of still being on the line unattended to for which lasted well over 30 minutes. A nice employee kindly replaced the order. What should have been a few minutes to pick up an order from one of our favorite food places, turned into more than an hour and a half to two hours (including drive time) to feed my children. This was ridiculous and I'll NEVER give this location my business. Fortunately for this location, I'm unable to post the screenshot of the amount of calls I made nor the screenshot of the actual 30+ minute call that was NEVER attended to. I am however saving that information to send to their corporate office. Sincerely, A long time customer who may never...
Read moreI decided to visit the Popeyes on McKinley in Corona CA during my 1 hour lunch break. So I placed an App order 15 minutes before I drove there thinking that my order would be ready when I arrived to pick it up in the restaurant. The service from the associate at the counter was good. However, the services from the staff working in back including the management is terrible. I was told it would be a 10 minute wait for spicy chicken to come out from the fryer. I was completely okay with waiting 10 minutes for fresh fried chicken. However, that whole batch of chicken was all served to the drive-thru customers. Once I noticed this, I informed the associate that I was already waiting for that chicken before any of those drive-thru customers placed their order. The associate told me I now had to wait 20 more minutes for more chicken. I ended up waiting 35 minutes in the restaurant. By the time I got back to work and in the break room, I only had 5 minutes to eat, and I just ended up taking most of the food home and microwaving it when I got home. So the point of my story is if you're in a hurry or you place an order on their App, you better get in the drive-thru line no matter what. Drive thru customers are first priority at this Popeyes, and you will receive your order way faster. I will never come to this Popeyes again for lunch. I will say that the one piece of chicken I had time to eat was very good. By the way, there was never an apology from any...
