When locals recommend … LISTEN! The Poke bowls were bursting with layered flavors and textures. The kimchi and mushrooms were out of this world. For pescatarian this is your euphoric experience. Located in the same building as the salmon sisters Johnny’s corner is on the corner of the building selling out of their window with plenty a picnic seating covered and in the sun out of the wind. The ball were enormous and enough for two people to walk away feeling like they ate too much. The only recommendation we might have is to add a little more rice to mix in with the flavors, but that’s hardly a complaint when normally we have the reverse experience of too much rice and too little poke. Delicious and worth every penny ! Locally owned by Homer...

Do not miss this spot at the end of the spit towards Lands End!! Especially on a sunny day this place is a vibe and it’s so Alaska and so Homer! You can order your meal, then go inside Salmon Sisters to shop for ribs to try on your fresh catch, cute new XtraTufs, and many other things. I have the tofu bowl and I chose to get it with the egg because I wasn’t sure how filling it might be without, next time, I will likely get it without egg (since I don’t eat a lot of eggs). It was so colorful, flavorful and very filling! I was even able to watch some of the nearby eagles flying to and from their nest while I enjoyed my meal and soaked up...

Really good food! I had the Adak (Hazelnut crusted Halibut). So fresh! It had these mushrooms I could have eaten a bowl of. The mango relish was super fresh. I wish I knew about this place sooner. I probably would have eaten here every day. The chicken was delicious as well. Very flavorful! Should have got a couple orders to go, heat it up on the boat during one of our fishing expeditions. The chef is on point with his flavors. Each dish is very thought out and has different textures that complement each other very well. Must stop...
